Are we allowed to talk about that?

It's just that all season I've been focusing on what needs to be done to qualify for the I Can't Believe It's Not The Heineken Cup, but Connacht's steadfast refusal to get off the top of the bloody table is forcing me to believe, against my better judgment, that a top 4 is on the cards.
This is crucial as it affects which team I shout at the telly for while watching the other games, and as we all know, shouting at the telly is scientifically shown to materially affect the outcome (something to do with gravitational waves).

For example, for the remainder of this weekend's fixtures, we all want Zebre to beat Leinster, though it's not gonna happen; likewise we want Treviso to halt Cardiff's recent momentum, but for other games, our preferred outcome kinda depends on our target finish.

So from a qualification perspective, we want Munster to beat Ospreys, which should effectively give us the chance to send them to the Challenge Cup at the end of the month, but Newly Ambitious Pinky wants an Ospreys win as they are unlikely to catch us whereas Munster threaten our semi-final spot.
Likewise, with Scarlets looking like the top Welsh side, their position is irrelevant to our qualification chances, so we want them to win all round them, but it's them or us for the semis, so who do we champion in their two fixtures with Edinburgh?
And I don't even know where I stand on the whole Ulster Glasgow situation.

Can someone provide me with a list of who I should be shouting for this weekend (apart from Ireland and Italy)?
Please support your answer with a bewildering raft of statistics and preferably some kind of graph.

Had big message written but it's gone.
I'm going,
Two Italians, Ulster, ospreys, scarlets

You can apparently lose your spleen in Dubai, so why not imagining Connacht with pro12 silverware

More seriously, our schedule is still tough, and with the "nationality" rule, I think top 5 remains a priority, so you have to support Scarlets tonight and Munster to prevent Edimburgh and Ospreys bothering us.

BUT if we do get 9 points in the next two games (not easy, not unlikely either), then we should aim Top 4

Is it time to start picking teams we'd like to share top four with and hope that they beat all comers? We don't want 5 points between first and seventh going into the last day against Glasgow.

Personally I hope Edinburgh and Ospreys don't go on a winning streak. And I'd really like to finish ahead of Leinster....just to make it harder for Robbie to justify heading East.

That sound about right?

No Clan tickets available for either of the interpros. Was looking forward to bringing a few Munster friends.

Fixtures out for the remaining rounds:
www.pro12rugby.com/matchcentre/fixtures_list.php

Leinster at 5.15 on Saturday of Easter weekend.
Munster is a Saturday night job.
The Ulster away game is Friday night as expected.
And Treviso away is Friday night - I'm sure anyone thinking of going to that one would probably have preferred Sat but sure an extra day in Venice won't kill ye.

woudn't help us if we're 6th, the other province 7th, and Edinburgh+Glsagow 8th and 9th. Hugely unlikely, but prooves that finishing above Irish fellows isn't a guarantee

That's very interesting to see that each of the nine team could finish between 55 and 60 points when you look at their respective fixtures... So close it might be...

Edinburgh play the Scarlets twice in the next three rounds. If Edinburgh were to win both games (not unthinkable) it might be time to start worrying about four Irish and two Scottish teams finishing in the top six.

If that were to happen the sixth place team would have to make way for the top Welsh team.

Yep, or the other way round with no Scottish team.
Really only a top 5 finish guarantees qualification.
6th will most likely do, but might not.

FFS, I didn't think about this stupid anti-Connacht rule. Now It's come on Glasgow, come on Scarlets, in addition to come on Connacht and booooh to Ospreys, Cardiff and Embra. So complicated to be a Connacht fan...

If we finish 6th, and dont qualify for the Champions Cup next season, I will have a melt down similar to that lad Jason Russell who made those KONY 2012 videos

@ConnachtCows - Always looking for new followers :)
