pinky wrote: Yeah, Edinburgh would need to beat either Leinster or Munster away, both of them if we win another match (as well as all their other games) so seems pretty safe.
There Pinky you can admit I predicted Edinburgh would fade away, or do you want my self-quote from December?

Bookies had us 7/4 to top the table earlier and the next team were a long way back so we'd have to fancy ourselves capable of a home semi.

I want to see the back of Ospreys just to be sure, and I don't think Leinster are our biggest worry. Happy enough for them to take points off some of our rivals en route to top spot and then we can take them out gloriously in Murrayfield.

Borders no.2 wrote: Leinster v Ospreys at 3. Not exactly sure what to hope for here. After the results in the last week Ospreys should be far enough out of sight for us not to have to worry about them but I'd expect them to win their last 5 matches so might be no harm to have them out of the equation as far as we are concerned. On the other hand if Leinster lose here their run in looks quite tough.
The Champions Cup qualification thing is done; highest ever 6th pace finish was 60; highest ever 5th place 65, so with the Treviso game in our back pocket we're home and hosed for both those targets. It's all about top two now, so today we are all large fish eating birds of prey. If Ospreys beat the Goys then our game against Leinster gives us the chance to put a lot of daylight between us and the chasing pack.

And also have scored twice as many tries as them.....Evil_g wrote: League leaders Connacht have conceded more tries than any other team in the league with the exception of the Italians. :silly:
The season so far proves out Matt Williams stat/theory (think it was on Off The Ball) that teams scoring 3 or more tries in a game generally win. The boys have been working that stat to death all season and long may it continue (although the coach in me shudders at the defensive lapses)!

Connacht to win the Pro12: 3/1
Donald Trump to win the presidency: 3/1
I was going to start a comparative graph of those two markets a few months back. Really wish I'd done it now!

Hush now and let Agent Davies do the necessary for us.
