By all accounts when we were in ravenpan but Rory Best was impressed with him during Ireland camps and the Argentina tour and was onto management

Might change the minds of some of the less than complimentary posters on their fans forum. Better option than Herbst & Lutton anyway I'd have thought

His last few games for us, changed my opinion of him, I'm sad to see him going, even with his blip the season before last. but last season he was the player I hoped/knew he could be for us.
When we had no options on loose and tight head, himself and Lough's did us proud.

Seen Swifty in Tallaght today and still looks in great shape. Maybe he could play 2 or 3 more games for us lol.

Mccrea is player and s &c coach.
Surprised the other two didn't a pro team. Would love to know why Willie left us. Ulster badly stuck, or we let him go. He had year left on his contract. That move looks like a mistake now.

How's Rodney doing. How was he vs Exeter

I see Willie Falcon, Ian Porter and Mark McCrea are now playing club rugby up here in Ulster with Armagh, Banbridge and Malone respectively. Would have thought Willie & IP would have had a shot at other pro contracts.
Willie especially was a warrior for us but at times his body let him down

I'd say if he was a couple of years younger he could be lured abroad alright. But he's got a business degree, so I suspect he has a job lined up in Dublin and will be a gentleman player for Naas...

Bumped into him recently and was having a chat he said he may go to the USA league.

Dan McFarland will be in the mix for the Glasgow head coach role I'm sure.

Suspect so, no doubt that was part of the discussion to lure him in the first place...

Glasgow have agreed to take the Exeter coach as their new coach, so no promotion there for Dan

Fionn Carr has signed on to play AIL with Naas next season

Your getting a little mixed up there cows.
Yes, the chiefs headcoach, Rennie is going to Glasgow but its the chiefs from New Zealand, not the Exeter chiefs.
Will be interesting does Dan stay.

Huge pity about Fionn. Thought he would get something better

I've cleansed myself of all the negative juju by posting. It's cathartic! I don't follow him on any social media, there's not many I do 'cos my food is nicer looking than theirs anyway!

I might just have to stop looking at the rugby ads, and sports drinks ad or car ads or whatever.

Mayo for SAM!

Banm wrote: Dya know what, seeing that stuff and the other bits since he left feels like the two fingers. I'm sure the Leinster boys are loving it that he is now one of them and the new poster boy. I not usually one for letting these things bother me but this one does. Fair enough make your move, what's best for you but I hope you get smashed (legally) when we play ye. You've nailed your colours to the mast, no love lost on the pitch now.

And get off my timeline ffs!!

Their sponsors would be absolute mugs not to use him for marketing, he's by far and away their biggest signing since Rocky Elsom (Brad Thorne was a fair age when he arrived). The move was his decision entirely and he knew what cost his 30 pieces was going to demand and if he's happy enough with it good luck to him.

But just let him go, there's no point in posting this sort of stuff on here.
And don't follow him on Twitter if you don't want him in your timeline outside of Ireland stuff...
