Greatest news for Henshaw, worrying for Dillane
Ok, now I may be wrong, but I would bet my house that Henshaw will not be available. In terms of any form of player welfare such an option is simply not even an option. Its ludicrous to think that a guy who has played a bruising 6 nations (and that is the only way you could honestly describe it) is going to simply appear in the Sportsground. So this I will believe when I see it, and since we won't see it, I'm unlikely to believe it.
On another count I am a bit disappointed with the loss of AJ for the inclusion of an unknown SA outhalf potential to the team. If I were to pick between Jack, AJ and a potential unknown (on the basis that Pat sticks with his centre partnership) I would definitely go AJ. He has done us proud

He would not have played more than 15 minutes
O'leary is ok to kick to the post
Of course if AJ gets injured earlier (fingers 3 times crossed he won't), Craig will be a damaging loss.

McGinty will be fresh and may last 65 minutes. and O'Leary is a decent kicker. This only loss is 15 final minutes with less ensured game direction. And I'm very happy with Robb, looks like a very good defender
Disagree hugely with his comment. Craig is a huge loss with Carty out. He might not of started with Robbie back, but he will be missed on the bench.
May I ask how many games you've seen o Leary play?
He is awful with kicks out of hand, very poor. No way will he be anywhere near the 23 again.

Ronaldson is a big loss, not just for his kicking, as having two guys able to play first receiver has served us well. Aki will bring a different threat from 12 so well have to adapt our game bit.
Absolutely sickened to be missing this game

Does Api do a bit of place kicking at all? Hasn't been kicking for 'Wegians anyway. Had it in my head that he had a boot on him.

18) Bealham
19) Dillane (if not Browney)
20) SOB 2.0
21) Blade/Cooney (can't decide about that one)
22) O'Leary (to cover 10/15)
23) Parata (to cover centre and wing)
Guys that would be the greatest team since Toulouse away in HCup! I can't wait to be in the plane and in the Sportsground
Naoupu instead of Browne for me, if Dilane is inured. Browner has had his usual luck with injuries this season.
Parata is only back running this week, so he's still a couple of weeks away from action. With the injuries / unavailability, I wonder will Pewhairangi get a call-up been in good form for 'Wegians since coming back from injury...

Henshaw available to face future team-mates when Leinster visit the Sportsground
ROBBIE HENSHAW IS in line to play his first game for Connacht since announcing he will leave the province — and will come face to face with the Leinster colleagues  he will be joining in the summer.
However, there is a doubt about lock Ultan Dillane, who made his international debut during the Six Nations, after he picked up a knock.
But there is a big blow for Connacht with place-kicker Craig Ronaldson ruled out.
He sustained an ankle ligament injury in the bonus point win over Edinburgh and is not expected to return for a number of weeks, while out-half Jack Carty is still recovering from a ruptured spleen suffered last month.
Part of me was kind of hoping we'd be forced (or chose) to stick with Ronaldson over Henshaw (yes I am that embittered), but if Craig is injured it's great to have him available.
I hope AJ found his kicking boots when he got back from Brive.

The Ireland players who started against Scotland – Johnny Sexton, Jack McGrath, Mike Ross, Devin Toner and Jamie Heaslip – are being rested for most of this week but could be available for Saturday’s trip to the Sportsground.
Sounds like there is a more flexible policy wrt resting players ...
