I'm completely horse and I had to watch it from home, I'm definitely going to make a severe dent in the drink that was put away till tomorrow. Incredible defending. The media would have had us running scared of their bench but the Connacht bench, to a man made big impacts Heaslip aside our bench completely outplayed theirs. So proud to be Connacht. Now if you'll excuse me i'm off to rip into my cousins from Leinster and try to make sure they don't hurt themselves when the wheels come off the Leinster bandwagon.

As an Ulster fan who is slightly sickened by a team grasping defeat when victory is on the cards I was so happy to see Connacht hold on to get the win. Well done to all!

James Connolly was supposed to be playing with Corinthians today and isn't, so looks like the rumours on Jake might be true

Heavy rain showers out Loughrea side too, which doesn't bode well

It's also the slowest day ever!

Damned weather is falling Leinster's way, getting very blustery.

In here it's very don't be a d**k. And remember a lot of family and friends of players might read here (because it's more friendly/positive to the people they know) and in all fairness as we are a fan based group so potentially it might not look great for us and the player. (Especially if it's a personal contact)

That said I don't mind an oul rumour but remember for your own sake more than anything else it could/might bite you in the ass

Looking forward to tomorrow but a lot more calm about this one than I was for the Scarlets and Ospreys games. Tomorrow is an occasion to savour. We memorably had a full house for the first home Heineken Cup game against Toulouse but with all due respect that was a Connacht side in transition where the occasion drew people in more than any belief in Connacht doing anything on the day. Tomorrow we have a sell-out because people are excited about what we are achieving on the pitch.

For me the pressure is on Leinster here. We're 99% of the way to our primary objective for the season and look in decent shape for Top 4. We also have a European Quarter Final to come. Given how Leinster's European campaign went they need to win the Pro 12 to rescue their season. I am going to savour this season for all it's worth as we all know it hasn't been like this in the past and probably won't be too often in the future. That's not to say that this season isn't a massive opportunity which we have to give everything in our power to seize.

Looking at the teams I'd have probably preferred Danie Poolman at 14 but Niyi has done well in most games and his workrate for kick chases, restarts etc. could be important. My big concern for this game is like we saw over the Christmas that we get bogged down in side to side rugby which wasn't working against tight defences like Leinster and Ulster. We need some big carries and to mix it up a bit early on to keep them honest around the fringes. If their defence settle into a routine of being able to fan out and flood the breakdown early on we will find it very hard to break that stranglehold as the game progresses.

Nigel Owens is reffing which should help the flow of the game. However, the weather may contribute to it being a dogfight.

Anyway hopefully everyone enjoys the occasion tomorrow and we can edge it.

Heard on the grapevine that Jake is in hospital with an ankle injury.
Pray it isn't true!

The underdog title suits us better IMO

Bit of a drift since the team announcement alright - some confident Leinster money piling in. Who is this Peter Robb, they are asking, didn't he write a biography of Caravaggio?
