Personally, I would prefer to play Ulster in the Sportsground over Leinster. Ulster beat Connacht twice this year already. Surely they could not do it a third time.....

Ulster will pick up 4 points against Leinster, who pick up nothing
That will leave the top looking like this
Connacht 73
Glasgow 71
Leinster 68
Then Dan picks up the phone and rings Pat. Asks him if he'd like to play in a nice 28-28 draw in Galway
Final table,
Connacht 76
Glasgow 74
Leinster 73
Home semi finals all around

As I read it Connacht would need to lose both their remaining games and not secure a losing bonus point while Scarlets would need to win both their games with try bonus points and also overcome a 71 points difference defecit. That would be most unlikely
Nearly right - if we lose both games without getting a bonus point, and Scarlets get all 10 match points available, then they go ahead of us on most wins (15 vs. 14) and points differential doesn't come into it.
Still not quite there. Ulster would also require 8 points in their remaining 2 games against Leinster and Ospreys. This would seem the also over take us on points difference, with the same number of games won.
All in all, I think it safe to say Top 4 is in bag.

It's great looking down and knowing we sit pretty at the top with no do or die games just good options ahead of us

You would expect that both ourselves and Glasgow will collect 5 points from the Italian games so 73 / 71 would be the points total going into the last game against each other.
Can't see Leinster taking anything other than a LBP against Ulster in Belfast ATM so they will have 69 going into the last round.
It's winner take all on the 7th May. Win and its finish top and a home semi. Loose and I think it will be away to Leinster.

Of course if it's a draw, the four points in Italy will come in handy alright.

Yup, I was not sure that actually happened. Had to check the news again this morning to make sure. My head will be sore all week reading about this result.
Can everyone add all links about this result to the "Connacht in the media" page. I want to read each and every one of them. :woohoo:
