Now first I want to make one thing clear. I think Connacht can charge what they want and when they want. I have no problem with that.
However, they refuse to answer the question about charging for kids next year (aged between 3 and 18).
I have been kicked off their Facebook page for asking the question too many times and been accused of harassment.....
I have received two variants on the answer so far.
1: They have not decided yet if they will or will not charge for kids over 3.
2: They have not decided on the prices yet for kids over 3.
I have asked them to make it clearer for people but they refuse to inform anyone. Basically they want everyone to buy season tickets first and then set the prices for children over 3.
I have only brought my niece twice this season. Once to the Zebre Rabo game and to the Dragons game. Crowds were low, plenty of room.
In reality it does not affect me much whether or not they charge for kids but the way they have handled it has pissed me right off.
So I didn't renew today. Been going to Connacht games for many years now but not anymore. I have been told that sales have been slow and it does not surprise me. There does seem to be alot of people annoyed with Connacht this year.
Peace out.

When I did manage to get on earlier, I saw something about 700 tickets had been renewed in the past 24hrs

good stuff, swift4prez got mine now. only 1 for me this year. :evil:
there was 3 people there ahead of me, one guy from the clan (cant remember his name) :oops:
also another guy was in claiming his free tickets. hopefully at least 2 stands will be sold out.
i wouldnt be surprised if the branch sold another 700+ tickets today which would be a healthy 2500 before new members can buy theres. two of my friends are buying new season tickets :woohoo:

Less than 2/3 of 2011/12 season ticket holders renewed last year, the remainder being new fans.
Also you have to allow for the Galway effect: the last 2 seasons there were queues out the door the day before the first home match of the year.

tomorrow reneal 130
early bird 4-17 may 160
full price 18 may 190
adults
T= 200
EB= 225
Full= 250
early bird goes to 17may i guess 4/5pm on the friday. amlin cup final is 17may at 8pm!
i dont understand people seeing will we be having heineken cup, its either tomorrow or full price. only people with early prices are new people who are stepping up. if your waiting for leinster then its an extra €60 (concession) or €50 (adult).
big difference, renew tomorrow, and you'll have enough left in your pocket for a pint a game!

Has anyone else been told that their session has timed out as soon as they put in credit card details to renew?
This has happened to me on five different occasions now, contacted them twice to be told I'd be called back and three days later still no word....
Plus there is a suspicious purchase fee on my card twice so far of 5.95......
This has just happened me, how did you get it sorted. Difference is my session did not time out as i still had over 2 minutes but it told me the webpage was no longer available.
I had a few problems with the site trying to renew as well, I just rang the branch, they confirmed my name and renewal code and then I paid for it over the phone via the branch, sorted.
Really, I rang the branch and they wouldn't do it over the phone they asked me to ring tickets.ie , so I rang them and they refused to do it over the phone , they said they would ring back and that never happened.

For the less attractive fixtures (e.g. Zebre in January) do a special offer "Kids for a Quid" etc.
