Salmson: Heard nothing in relation to this. As others have pointed out, an owner/part owner of Rugbytech is on the PGB, so may not be massively likely. I'd prefer to stick with them, I've always rated the quality of the gear (maybe the range is a bit narrow, but still).

micktreacy: I got an email with details of the renewal, but no code yet. I assume we'll all get them together (fingers crossed)

They've given ticketb*stard the boot too. On a related subject, anyone hear anything on a change from rugbytech as shirt provider?

Why does it say 'free entry' to rabo and European games? Isn't that what we are paying for?!

From what I can see, it seems to be the same benefits as last year for an individual season ticket. €20 dearer but that's to be expected. Someone had to pay Clarke's wages B)

[strike]First thing I noticed is that there doesn't appear to be a line between Clan Stand and Main Stand side. I may just be thick.

I'm in contact with the Branch about other issues, and have queried this specific bit. If anyone has any other queries, leave me a comment and I'll try and check up.[/strike]

Branch have confirmed that you will be able to get your Clan side or Main Stand side ticket, but there's no difference in price. So, like last year, for those of us that want to stay on the [strike]good[/strike] Clan side, best to get in early.

On the plus side: Free pint!!

Even at Full Price and it only covered Pro 12 & HEC games, that is still EXCELLENT value, especially when you think how much it costs to just go to the cinema or theatre or a gig.

Connacht Rugby launches new Season Ticket campaign for 2013/14

Connacht Rugby is delighted to launch their 2013/14 season ticket campaign.

It’s been a busy few weeks with the arrival of Pat Lam and recent signings confirmed. With anticipation already building for next season, we are delighted to announce the great value season ticket offer which is available to current holders from tomorrow.

With nearly 4,000 season ticket holders in 2012/13, last year’s offer was hailed as one of the best value packages available in the country and prices have only been slightly increased for next season to coincide with the clubs drive to maintain developments at Connacht Rugby.

Current holders can take advantage of a loyalty discount for renewing their season ticket in the early and exclusive renewal period. From tomorrow, 11th April, current Terrace Season Ticket holders, for example, can secure their ticket for next season for just €200.

Speaking on the ticket launch, Alex Saul, Head of Commercial said “Our season ticket holders are the lifeblood of this club and we’ve seen that family grow significantly over the last two years. We’ve worked hard to create a really attractive package whilst balancing the club’s needs to continue our growth and development. We hope that fans will be happy and see the incredible value that’s on offer here”.

The Family Season Ticket has been tailored to focus on added value to the family with an emphasis on children and their involvement with the club.

On Family tickets, Alex added: “We have increased prices so that they fall in line with all our other offerings but the family ticket now comes with the option of including up to three children and other additional benefits”.

“With over 1,200 Family tickets purchased last year, we wanted to make sure that we continued to create exceptional value with the offering. These benefits include the chance for kids to become the official match day mascot and access for all kids to designated master classes with senior Connacht players throughout the year”.

As well as a host of exclusive benefits, the season ticket grants access to all of Connacht's home RaboDirect PRO12 matches (including inter-provincial derby's against Leinster, Munster and Ulster), three European Cup pool games and all of Connacht's home British & Irish Cup games.

Another attractive option for Season Ticket holders is the ability to upgrade to a ‘Pavilion Member’. Membership entitles you to access the popular Pavilion Hospitality Suite at the Sportsground both pre and post-match at up to nine RaboDirect matches during the season.

Finally, in a change from previous years, season ticket holders will now receive their cards well in advance of the season kick off. Cards will be sent out or available for collection from June 1st onwards.

Due to the popularity of the Season Tickets a pre-registration phase has been introduced whereby supporters who did not previously hold a season ticket can make sure they don't miss out next season.

This year, Connacht Rugby supporters will see a switch in ticket provider to tickets.ie – an Irish owned company. Tickets.ie operate all ticketing for the GAA currently and will allow Connacht Rugby and our fans more flexible access throughout the province.

More Season Ticket Information

Individual Tickets

Each season ticket account holder will be emailed the URL for their renewal and a unique code which will allow you to renew your tickets. As a season ticket holder you must then enter your unique code to access the renewal event. The renewal code is unique and can only be used once.

If you wish to renew in the Connacht Branch please bring your Connacht Rugby season ticket to the office reception at the Sportsground. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9 – 5pm.

Family Season Tickets

We have made a number of changes to the Connacht Rugby family season ticket for season 2013/14. While we are conscious that family season ticket prices have increased the ticket still represents significant value for money. Two adult renewals for 2013/14 total €400 so for only €20 you get to bring up to three children with you for the whole season. We have also included additional children’s benefits which include discounts on summer camps, a chance to be a Connacht Rugby mascot and children’s Masterclasses throughout the year. We believe that this year’s family season ticket is truly tailored to offer families the best benefits to date.

Concession Tickets

Who is entitled to a concession ticket?

Students, OAP’s and people on unemployed benefit are entitled to purchase concession tickets. Proof of eligibility will be required at the point of purchase and/or point of collection.

Accepted identification:

Students are required to have a student card which is valid until May 2014 or beyond.
To qualify as an OAP concession ticket holder you must be 65 years of age or older on the day you purchase the ticket. Passport or driving licence is the only identification accepted.
Proof of entitlement for those on unemployment benefit is accepted by a showing a receipt from a job seekers benefit or job seekers allowance payment from the previous month.
Enclosed Tickets

All seating in the enclosed ticket area is unreserved and is on a first come first served basis. There is no allocation for children’s or under 12’s tickets in the enclosed area. If children wish to sit in the enclosed area they must buy an adult ticket.

Why is there a booking fee?

We are introducing a booking fee as the production process of a season ticket involves various levels of administration.

Introduce a Friend Season Ticket Offer

The introduce a friend season ticket offer is not in operation for season 2013/14. However you are able to purchase up to the same quantity of tickets you bought last season for the renewal price.

Payment

Will I have to enter my card details into the new season ticket portal?

Yes, as we are using a new ticket provider your card details are not stored on any of our systems.

It's worth noting that season ticket sales were strong last year even before the HC Semi's when we knew we were in (in excess of 3000 iirc). So season ticket sales may not be as fickle as people imagine.

I'd love to renew my season ticket for next year, but I'm moving to Singapore in August! Hopefully be back for one of the derby games at Christmas (or Challenge Cup final in May)!

I can't not see us in the Heineken now Leinster have two home games. If we can beat Biarritz in our home patch, I'm sure Leinster will to.

Perpignan would be very tough though. Some good players in their team.

A call to all ST holders.

The HC has give us the oppertunity to build a great supporter base at Connacht and the Sportsground is becoming a tough place for even the biggest teams to come and play at at. If you can, please opt to renew your ST, even if we end up in the Amlin next year.

Prices will be going up from what I understand.
I dont mind that, as we're getting them for so cheap right now, just hope they dont go up by a huge amount. Think I paid 180 last season. Id imagine they'll be between 200 and 220 this time

All season ticket holders will be emailed individually regarding the season ticket process for 2013/14 - how to renew, what the benefits are and when you will receive your season ticket early next week. All information will be made available to public and visible on our website at the same time. Non-season ticket holders will have a chance to buy tickets at early bird prices once the renewal window closes. Preference will be given to those who pre-register their details with us.
