Thanks Diom, was getting paranoid, I thought I had seen that other's had received theirs.
People who bought only one had their ticket sent earlier as they did not have to update their names. It was presumed that the ticket they bought was for themselves. For those who bought multiple we have had to wait a bit longer.
So do you have to register? Paid for my ticket in the branch a couple of months ago and hasn't arrived yet

The tickets are going out in good order this year so hopefully will see them pretty soon.

If this is the plan to only allow people pick up their stuff at the opening party, I'm sure there'll be some work around. Even if it does mean I'll have to 'hang onto' 30 or 40 odd drink and food vouchers for ye.

So still an online discount, just not at Elverys shops. Hmmm. I really do hope that it's not a case of turning up at the launch to grab everything; I live in London and there is little chance I'll be back for it, let alone trying to get along to all the home games too.

Once the official notice of the launch party is out, I am sure if we contact one of the lads on the committee, someone can arrange to collect any of the items that we are getting.
My problem is that in August and Sept, I will be getting over a hip replacement so will not be able to get down to Galway either.

Still surprising that they're on the letter for 2013/2014 (which looks like it came from the tickets crowd and not Connacht).
I think you might be right about an announcement before the end of the season, mind. Love the Rugbytech stuff tho, shame to see it go.

Would not be so sure about that, As one of the 2012 / 2013 sponsors their name would appear on all official documents until the official end of the season which I think is July.
I use Elverys for other things so would miss the 10% discount
At the 2nd last game in the Sportsground I wanted to get a new jacket, the guy in the Elverys wagon did not have my size, when I said it did not matter I would get one at the start of next season, he replied he would not be here. Did he mean himself or Elverys, only time will tell?
With all the talk on the Forum about a new kit provider, BLK (formally Kooga) and the increasing push to use the web shop, I am willing to bet that we will have an announcement about Elverys before the start of the new season

It's great that they've linked up with Centra and Supervalu across the province though - hopefully it'll encourage even more to come along.
Didn't hear about that! That's Kickass! I hope Supervalue and Centra hype it up a bit. Seeing a poster in you local store with Connacht Rugby on it will always help the brand. It always surprised me Bank Of Ireland never had the Brains to stick a cardboard cut-out of JOC or Duffy up in their Connacht branches with "Offical Sponsor of Connacht Rugby" plastered on it. Would have being good publicity for all involved.

Sounds ominous. Does this mean the Clan is set to lose it's Official Supporters' Club status?
Nope, as far as we're aware we're the official (and only?) supporters club.

A well organised Supporters Club, funded, and supported by the Banch. (financially and administratively) with the members having an equal say in how things were run would be a great, I will not start holding my breath yet.
Have you also noticed that the lists of ST benefits are no longer printed on the card itself? And that the 10% discount in Elverys is gone. (another new Jersey and all that)
No efforts made by Connacht to 'take over', I'd like to think that our relationship with Connacht has grown in the last year (but have only been involved this year, so can't really comment). All our income is self generated, no funding from the Branch, which obviously limits what we can and can't do.

Excellent point, I got the impression when the Branch did the survey last year that they were angling to get the “Official Supporters Club” under their control. (might be my cynical nature) but if that ever happens I will be considering signing up for the “Continuity Connacht Clan”
If you look at most for the big clubs in England and France, they appear to have numerous different Supporters Clubs, Quinn have 3 I think, Biarritz have 5 or 6 from memory with Toulouse having about the same from looking at their website. Some official and fully backed by the Club, others not.
