Has to be a serious consideration alright, he has so much to offer and it would be a shame if a Munster born former Ireland coach living in close proximity to the wasn't seriously in the shake up..

Surely they can't make the same mistake that we're told we did...

He's also timed his arrival back at Garryowen very well, maybe that's the reason Penny's moving on, the proximity of a superior coach...

Good piece of Business for Munster and Ireland. Would have loved Stander to come to us but obviously the Copeland signing hasn't phased him. Casey after the performances he's put in this season is now the tied down 3rd choice for Munster and another asset for them.

Both sides will be pleased with that runout. Munster look a bit thin on options in some areas at this stage though. Ulster should never have found themselves so close to being denied the win at the end. They played some superb stuff at times but Munster kept plugging away and the rolling maul had Ulster in all sorts of difficulties. Keatley had a stinker and I think Hanrahan will be handed the reins for the key upcoming games.

I don't think Rolland or his officials covered themselves in glory tonight either. As for the RTE commentary, it was totally focused on Munster, I know that's where the majority of the viewership would be for that game but a bit of balance would be nice.

Gotta say Duncan Casey impressed the hell out of me again as did Jared Payne. A good win for Ulster with a lot of there returnees getting a good run out for next week.

Rough night with the boot for Keatley especially in the first half. Perhaps the wind was an issue but missed out on 8 points, at least two missed touches on penalties and fittingly kicked the ball away to end the game with Munster coming away with nothing. Leinster will certainly be looking to get 5 points at the Sportsground to close the gap on them.
