Fogarty didn't serve a minute, he and Jennings got off on a technicality on appeal.

Same story different week. Given what he's been through to make it back playing at all you'd hate to see POC miss the Heineken game but while the intent was certainly to play the ball he was reckless in the extreme. Even before the incident you could see he was far too pumped up and making trouble for himself with Nigel Owens.
This horse trading shit has been going on for years and must stop if the league itself and Irish rugby are going to take themselves seriously.

They did fix this as far as I know and a lot more players do get banned but yes it is an imperfect system. POC was lucky. Dave Kearney wasn't.

No, I wouldn't think so.
Personally if living over here I was still supporting Irish, I would have no problem with cheering them to wins against Munster & Leinster, my other half being an Ulster-woman (and valuing my testicles) I'd be SUFTUM....
Plus Munsters supporters haven't always endeared themselves to other provinces during their halcyon years, there was (and is still) a very vocal core who are very disingenuous to other Irish teams and I know many Leinster & Ulster supporters who are not the least bit upset when Munster lose as a consequence...

But I wonder how many Munster born supporters Quins have as season ticket holders, folks who live in London and would support Munster usually but maybe can't travel to games?
That's the thing that English people don't get, the sense of Parish we have inbuilt. Our locale, city, county, province and country....
From years back I for a time (when I was injured) used to go out to Sunbury to watch Irish play and to Sunday or Friday night games (I stopped when they moved to Reading).
But regardless of that Connacht has always been my team, and even if had continued supporting Irish up to now and was a season ticket holder I know full well that if we (Connacht) were drawn against them I would be geared up in my Connacht gear.
Blood is thicker than water as the saying goes...

Seems fair enough to me. The idea that Quins season ticket holders facilitated Munster fans to get almost half the tickets when the club had made a big play out of having the game in the Stoop sounds appalling.
But Quins fans aren't too happy it seems

munster were given 25% of tickets = 3,750 but alot more were there, clearly out signing the quins supporters.
conor o shea prefered to keep it at the stoop so munster fans would be kept quiet due to the small numbers. this completely backfired.
harlequins missed out on going to twickenham, selling as many tickets as munster wanted and getting a very nice pile of money.
