Very true. Great to get Carthy and Tiernan signed up. Nikora Ronaldson and Carthy can do the job. Keep the cash for something big next year. Still could do with somebody at 8/6 and a centre/fullback and at hooker.

I guess that means its unlikely that we'll be signing a new out half. Disappointing if so, we need consistency there more than anything else...

That only really applies to the Welsh who tend to add on an extra international around November. Ireland sticks with the official 3 week window.

Parks has to go and I see your point about losing a player September to October but we need to beef up a bit in the pack.

Can we afford to fill an NIQ space and justify a good salary for a player who will miss alot of games to due the Rugby Championship?

With regards to Griffin he would be hooking up with Eamonn Sheridan in the backline who can play 12 which is another new combination for Ireland which wouldn't hurt his international chances if they were able to make a go of it at L.I.
Wouldn't be surprised if they put in a bid for Monahan as well or Niall Morris. The only problem is that L.I. would be fined if they let these guys go outside the international window which has to limit/hurt there chances for international recognition.

after watching all the chiefs games last season, when he got injured chiefs started to fall apart.
if the world cup was happening tomorrow, dan carter injured, gareth anscombe would be be in the starting 15, for his attacking and kicking.
he is one of the best players in new zealand, sadly ive more chance of signing for connacht, that wont happen as im signing for munster tomorrw

Connacht man to fill the post I'm told.

I'm going with Conor McGuinness if that's the case, with all things considered...

I had heard another name but did play on the same team as McGuinness.

Would I be close Shelflife?

Uncle Joe says Henshaw is first choice at 13 and Uncle Joe gets what Uncle Joe wants. Just unfortunate our 2 best backs are in the same position, good luck to Griffin.

I see what you mean and I can see how the possibility of Henshaw being picked ahead of Griffin because of Ireland could happen, but you just need to look at this weekend's game to know that Joe is not forcing Henshaw into 13. I'd love to see what McSharry and Henshaw could do together in the centre. But the point in any case is that Griffin needs to force Joe/Lam's hand and prove he's better than Henshaw.
