Bath to announce if or if not they are re-signing Stringer and Henson soon. Henson doesent interest us so that's an end to anything involving him.
Stringer on the other hand could do a job for us when Marmion goes on more International duties which he will. Frank can't do it anymore and POD is ok but as first choice I think not. A 1 year deal would get him his tax qualification which I'm sure he would want. Bath rumoured on their forum about signing Will Genia so it might be worth keeping an eye on.

Personally feel that we have more than enough fullbacks on the books, its just that they're carrying too many injuries/out of favour for whatever reason. Maybe Hudson could sort that although I don't think he's seen too much senior time with Leinster. At the minute I'd take someone of medium ability as long as they could play 25 games a season, over a more skillful fullback who'll only play 12 or so games because they're perma crocked.

Darren Hudson is out of contract this season with Leinster. He could be a good replacement for Duffy as they both play the same positions. I for one would happily take him.

If he was offered a full time job he'd be dumb not to accept it. The money is better and Arsenal have said one of the reasons they've had better form this season is their players are fitter. We'll just have to go with Plan B aka Flannery.

Think flannery has finished at it and johnny was offered and accepted a full time position.

Why he would leave it for Connacht i have no idea. he is only 33/34 or so. the world is his.

If I remember correctly it was mentioned in a Sunday Times article which, from a quick search, I think may be called "More than just muscle men". I cannot get access to the article as the website is by subscription only.

Their initial stay may have been extended and if so all the best to both of them!

Pretty sure Flannery was only at Arsenal for 3 months and JOC for a season. Would be happy with either to be frank.

Johnny would be the obvious candidate, and I had heard himself and Jerry Flannery are in London temporarily too.

Speaking of Flannery, I had some good banter with him on the way out of the ground the last night. Seriously sound guy, and very funny. I was asking him about his cat - any of ye who follow him on twitter will know why!

Johnny would be great if he was qualified enough. Nobody could ever question his commitment.

Lads move on so best of luck to Tom.

strength and conditioning coach leaving

Might not be for the worst there's being serious questions asked about our conditioning the last season or two so a new person coming in might be a positive.

Totally agree

As long as he's being replaced.... ;)
