The crowd did its job and the players feed off that energy...one of the great nights.
My weekend just got better...
It really will go down as one of the great nights in Connacht Rugby, and we have been so lucky the past few years with great nights.
On a negative side, It wasn't a great second half and some of the booing, hehawing and "offside" shouts was a bit embarrassing from the Connacht fans. We are better than that.
However, I agree with what Bundee said to Sky.

Considering the way Connacht pushed wasps back so much last week, it is hard to believe they could have improved so much.
When scrums have issues they always seem to be on the opposite side to the ref for some strange reason.

So proud of all the lads. Bundee really is proving his undoubted quality in these Champions Cup games. The 2nd row were superb and emptied the tank. Tom carried so much ball. It was a reversal of last week in that the lineout was successful but the scrum struggled particularly in the latter stages.
Ulster next Friday is a big ask but really looking forward to the Munster home game and onwards to the end of the group.

With the pool ranking rules, Connacht need to finish with more points than Wasps to top the pool, so a BP against Zebre and a win against Toulouse to be sure of going through. Nothing they haven't done before.

Whatever you brought to Edinburgh, you need to Tap into it this weekend despite the distractions...
There is no space after result last weekend for anything else than 100% off and off the pitch....!

You're right. The players feed off the crowd, both good and bad.mahick wrote: Was at the Motorpark COPE fundraiser where Ultan emphasised the importance of Fan welcome and

More of the same from us tomorrow and the lads will feed on it..

If we can bring a good atmosphere then that will rub off on the players.
We have to have confidence (not arrogance) that we can win tomorrow. If we believe we can win, then the players will believe it too.

Starting to feel a bit optimistic about tomorrow.
That 9 - 15 combo (minus Robbie) ripped teams apart last season.
Also one of the best front rows in the Pro12.
The game is there for the taking lads.....
