Jack Carty should be no more then third choice outhalf. Connacht need to invest in back up to Boshoff.

Conor Carey has been the find of the season. Loosehead back up is a worry whats the story with Conan O'Donnell??

We needed a kicker today. Not only were there missed penalties but we actively chose not to take some penalties and went for the corner. Carty's kicking has cost us alot of points this season.

if only we had a line out we could be ahead in game.

Neutralising the wasps back row though in open play

If we get our bench mobilised in second half we definitely could have a losing bonus point in this game.

Anyone know how I can stream the Craggy Island crew's buildup?

The said on the last podcast that they'd be online from 12:15 and on air from 1:00 but there's no sign of it on the Galway Bay website.

[edit] Found it: galwaybayfm.ie/wasps-v-connacht-live-stream/

Well in the end Matt Healy is on the bench with Peter Robb being ruled out. Dannie Poolman has probably travelled too since he was pulled from the Eagles team today so not sure Matt is quite 100% ready.

Looking at the teams I think our pack looks decent but I do worry that the Wasps back row could wreak havoc at the breakdown. Really though I think Ronaldson is the biggest loss for this fixture. I like what Stacey offers but I fear at 13 he'll be exploited from a defensive viewpoint. I'd be delighted with a losing bonus point tomorrow but we've nothing much to lose. We can go there and give it a go. For me the target is this day next week in Galway.

Thanks chops, I had a feeling Parata had experience there though he hasn't much lately. Jack is sturdy enough, but you'd think Wasp's backrow would be targeting him for rough treatment even with true ouhalf cover on the bench.

No fear. We'll find gaps, and turn them over. Easy peasy.

We've got Bundee Aki for goodness sake
Dillane is going to have a stormer, and Tom and Bucks are going to do some damage.
And then there is Jake. My lovely Jake. He could win it all on his own. What a guy

O'Halloran, Marmion and Aki with the tires

Which of them is getting the second for a BP? ;)

Who covers outhalf if Carty can't go the full 80? Just feel Healy or Poolman can slot in anywhere in a pinch especially Matt. Would have liked one of them on the bench. Counting on this being a good tight game.

Huge ask but the Wasps team is not unbeatable B)

If we can get something like parity in the forwards (really like the look of the Wasps backrow unfortunately......and that's without The Hask) then we've got the ammo in the backs to do damage.

Don't think you could drop Healy in without a game played in months- 80 mins for the Eagles and make s***e of Wasps the week after

Suprised healy isn't on bench.. Coukd come on and change the game if fighting for win or BP. Happy to see Robb back to bench will always give 100% in D, savage tackler & and will be needed on last 20. Lineout will be interesting. Last year we tended to have Andrew at 6 to call if Quinn and ultan started. Bucks Jake and Nepia will hopefully get us some turn over to score from. I know the game plan is not to kick back to them but wasps seldom kick back to teams either so scrum lineout and restarts vital. Can't wait.
