It's like the carton house stuff this week. No press release so nobody has a clue what's going on. Who got invited, who didn't.
Simply stupid and more to the point unfair to supporters
Haven't our standards increased dramatically - there are under no obligation to release statements in relation to player being injured etc - in the world of business which rugby is things change and often at short notice and you can be assured that the change in plans has only one goal and that is to have the team best prepped as possible for Saturday week - there is only two up and coming press releases i'm worried about the one next week in relation to our team for Glasgow and the actual release of the team.

Obviously they wanted more pre-season games but they fell through and plans had to be adjusted, I think Pat and his team have earned the right to change plans if it's what he feels is best for the team.
If that's what it takes to be ready for Glasgow then so be it.

No word on what is planned vs sale.
Sure if it's a behind closed doors game why would they make any comment on it?
I'd be more worried if the squad had nowhere to train and if sessions were being cancelled as opposed to a few possible friendlies falling through.
I prefer them to say they planned a training or a game vs sale for Thursday, (as Dobby said) behind closed doors and Friday will be rest day. Instead, they said they cancelled training and said they have injuries.
I was looking forward to seeing them play a bit, train etc while catching up with friends that I haven't seen since pro12 final.
I'm not into watching kids have skills sessions with the players, I Dont want to get autographs and In all the years I supported Connacht, I think I got 3 pictures with 2 players and pat.
In the last 5 or so years, maybe 4, I believe we had 2 home friendly games, a cancelled pre season party, and a cancelled pre season night at the dogs.

They probably plan to escape to England through one of the holes. Should never have left them unbarred.

I guess that no venue could be organised at such a short notice for fans to attend so they went ahead and organised a couple of behind closed doors games
anyone know the scores from the 2 games
