I thought a Flash Mob was something you'd see outside SuperMacs in Eyre Square on a Saturday night?
No that's a riot but it's easy to confuse the two sometimes.
Why doesn't the branch/BLK try a limited edition clothes item see how that sells and then float out some more seeing what works and then doesn't? After a while the branch should have a good idea what people are after or won't touch.

There really should be a souvenier type shop with mugs, keyrings, pens, phone covers stationary sets.these are the types of things that kids pick up at matches as a memento of the game. Ok these might be outside of the remit of blk but the branch should be on the ball with them.
Its soft money.
And not to forget the boxers for swift4prez !!

any chance BLK can sell connacht stuff on there own website, if connacht or elverys dont want to handle them?
any idea if they have polo shirts in the pipe line. always handy to wear these on a night out, talk to women, drop in connacht rugby, when they 'oh do you play for them?', you think to yourself would be rude to lie to them, only joking, of coarse i say 'i do', hahaha (evil laugh)   honestly we need polo shirts

Basically it is Connacht Rugby and approved stockists fault that we only get to see a limited range of wares in-store and on-line. BLK won't share the full range with the general public unfortunately, only approved retailers (presume Connacht determine those) get to see that and they decide what they want to carry in-store.
It's an absolutely maddeningly crazy continuous chicken and egg scenario, the store selects a small conservative range of Connacht stuff (to limit risk of overstock, meanwhile filling their boots with Leinster & Munster stuff..) and Connacht supporters pass because Jerseys apart the few other items are boring. And consequently because of poor sales they select an even smaller range the following season...
For the last couple of seasons we were trying to get our hands on the Connacht Contact Top (the one worn by Eric in the attached image). It appears that there's a green round neck pull over top (but Connacht didn't order any for their shop, Elverys neither).
Apparently there's a green Players Travel Jacket and green Hoody due to hit the shops very soon, so if you don't see it in your store ask the store manager to get some or contact Elvery's directly to get them ordering same from BLK, Lifestyle sports.
For those of us outside Ireland, I asked Lovells Rugby (UK) if they planned to get more form the Connacht range and they said it wasn't available, could be true or could be a polite way of saying they don't sell nearly enough to look to stock more...
My feeling is that Merchandising is something that the Connacht Clan should be asked by Connacht Rugby / BLK to provide feedback at the end of every season and in advance of any big rollout of a new range, at the moment it's very much the Mushroom model (feed them sh*t and keep them in the dark)...

Not particularity impressed so far with the range or speed of delivery. I don't see any single improvement over what Elverys/Rugbytech were doing. The range on the Connacht Rugby Store is appalling (better on the Elverys site ironically)it absolutely p*sses me off that you can only buy a player style jersey on-line. I personally don't want to be forced to wear a fire hazard to support my team...
C'mon @blk give us some real options, and sort out the range. The bloody Heineken Cup is nearly started at this stage...
I actually really like the home and away jerseys this year but agree the 'range' is pretty piss-poor at the moment. Can't comment on the delivery etc as I live in Galway and buy instore but if it's worse than Elverys that's very disappointing.

Mehh, if I see one more "impromptu" flash mob I think I'll spew frankly..
It's been done, let's move on....
Do like the jersey though, aligns the Blues to Cardiff RFC more too..

If u look closely u can see the eagle motif on the black shoulder of the home jersey as wellconnachtexile wrote:
If the Team\Individual Photo Shoots are being taken this week then we should get a look at the whole squad in the new jerseys next week some time.
The dead site being up-dated?!
Did anyone else notice the detailing on the right side of the away jersey? Looks like they are using the eagle motiff again. Can't wait to see these up close.
