No point him turning into idiots like Quinlan, EOS, Lenihan, BOD, etc.
He is an employee and knows what's up with these situations.
Well played.
Exactly. He did not look comfortable in that chair but you just know that EOS/Lenihan/RTE were aching for him to start an argument. I think he did very well and was the only one who came out of it with any dignity.

EOS has had a mixed and varied agenda for a number of years now, all with the sole aim of self-interest.
I have zero respect for him as a person. He has never shown any ability to be progressive and coupled with his personality, is it any wonder his career has gone the way it has over the last years. I wouldn't want him coaching an AIL side, never mind a pro side. Just not my cup of tea.
Also, for all his apparent association with Connacht, he is a Munster man. And I suspect still so bitter over Connacht not being one bit interested in him last time around.
So do one Eddie.....
Lenihen is Lenihen. Not much else to say!!
For me, that scrum was simple. The pressure came on, Cronin was forced to slip his bind and the scrum collapsed. The amount of muck i am reading about it is really funny. I think the linesman called it perfect.
P.S. David Corkery for Munster CEO?!

Crazy stuff.
Also EOS assessment of the Niyi knock-on was laughable. As far as he was concerned it was a clear knock-on. After watching it 100 times, I'm still not sure. The only one who knows is Niyi himself.
Also, a good sign of foul play is by watching the opposition players. Not one Munster player appealed for a knock on.
Couldn't possibly have been a knock on. It was kicked forward by red so it was a charge down, doesn't matter where it hit Niyi.

Actually, you are probably right there. Why didn't EOS or Lenihan say that I wonder? Oh wait......

I definitely couldn't tell if Niyi knocked on or not. Was almost impossible to tell
Robbie Henshaw did. He had the ball in his hands showing it to the referee that Saili knocked it on. There was not alot of appeal because it was fairly obvious. I was listening to Michael Corcoran on rte at the time and even he saw that from the Clan stand.

He may not be part of the playing team but he is part of the overall team.
Prob need to get someone that has no ties at all at the moment. JOC would be ideal if his newspaper columns are anything to go by.
Agree with that. We need someone who is not hamstrung due to their role or position. Perhaps Johnny O'C as others have said or else Swifty maybe ? I think Swifty has a role with IRUPA so that might act as a muzzle of some description also.

I agree also that Gavin does not have enough impact and he is not sufficiently robust in his contribution on the programme. He needs to step it up.

For crying out loud Gerry, we beat Leinster 34-6 in September 2012.
That's three times in a month that he's just made something up without checking the Pro 12 website.
