He's still eligible for the Ireland U19's which tells you how young he is and Ulster coming in and poaching a sub-academy player from us is pretty unprecedented. Hope he comes to us, if not I wish the lad all the best in Ulster.
It's not poaching, he wasn't getting an academy contract here so Ulster gave him one.

I would love to know what the score is with him and I hope more than anything that the financial problems that we had going on over the last few months did not result in us not giving him an academy contract.
I would also add that I think that the likes of Jack Carty and Darragh Leader did enough to get more than a one year contract. They both have played enough first team games and shown enough in those games to warrant longer. Our young players need to be encouraged and rewarded.

The Americans would have been better off playing an alright club side never mind a provincial side and when scores were raking up if game was to continue the coaches of each side would have learned more by mixing up the two teams so that all players learned more than what they did.
They had barely beaten Suttonians in Dublin in their opening game of their tour.

Congrats to Danny. Never reached his potential at Connacht like I'd hoped but good to see him doing well.
