I would have thought Blade would have had a chance. His a fine footballer.

Only players that have massive complaints are Blade and possibly Saba.

But Saba's performances over christmas left a lot to be desired.

O'Hagan may get involved if he returns to form when healthy.

Well done to Rory Maloney, Sean O'Brien and Jacob Walshe on making the Irish U20 Squad named today. 3 out of a squad of 28 was not what some thought that it should be.

TH prop Conan O'Donnell (Summerhill College) and second row Peter Claffey (Garbally College) played with Conor Kenny (Garbally College)on the bench.

Only flanker Matthew Cosgrove of Sligo RFC started and a Colin Kenny (Buccaneers RFC)was on the bench.

Result was 25-0 to the schools.

I can't seem to find it anywhere but in the Leinster Development Squad that played last week was a S. Gardiner that wouldn't be the same S. Gardiner that we released from the academy last year would it? All info appreciated.

Foley is with Leinster.

Tim Foley of Roscrea is a good 10, second year on SCT and still only a 5th year. Getting bigger, good kicker and very quick.

Sam Arnold is real class player. Played quite a bit with Harlequins A side.
Kieran Joyce is younger brother of Conor who is in Ulster Academy.
There has similar and more exiles in Irish youths squad for the past few years. Not that strange to see 5/6 in squad of 25/26
