The final numbers have been confirmed for Aupa BO's trip over to Galway ...
There will be 36 of us travelling, arriving in Dublin on the Thursday afternoon and hopefully arriving into Galway (we are staying at the Carlton Hotel Galway City hotel) circa 20.00hrs ... We have no specific plans (and the bus will not be available) apart from the match and the return early on Sunday morning.
Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible in Galway and for the return the following week.
If anyone could give us an idea of your numbers that are coming across to Biarritz we will try and organise something however it looks like the 'cidrerie' is going to be impossible due to the short amount of time most of you are spending here.
Can't wait for a few pints of the black stuff!!

We are in fact organising an event the following week, for the Clan to watch the Biarritz away leg together (assuming it's being televised). More details coming soon.

Potentially it could also be dubbed the Clan Christmas Party (if such a party isn't already being organised as I speak on some other thread).
I presume there will be a few arriving the day before and I'm always looking for an excuse for a few scoops on a Thursday.
If we can showcase a selection of our finest cocktail sausages, wedges and suspicious looking dips, all the better.
If we could get a venue sorted a few weeks in advance we could get the word out to the BOPB faithful.
I can do some legwork on this if needed though my organisational skills are poor at best.
I presume we have sponsorship arrangements with various pubs and would want to throw the business their way ...

etc.......
Old Skool and I wouldn't like to try translating to our hosts -
Bear in mind though that it is Le Paye Basque not France, and they are Basque first, and Basque second....

(French in Killaloe)
In the town where I was born
Round the time they cut the corn
Quite convenient to the town of Killaloe
They teachers they did scheme
And the French M'sieu he came
To instruct us in the game of Parlez-Vous.
Now I've one father that I'd swear
But he said I had a Pere
And he struck me when I said it wasn't true
Now the English for a giant
Is the French for half-a-pint
Faith, we learned it in the school at Killaloe
You may talk of Bonaparty
Or talk about McCarthy
Or any other party
Oh comment vous portez-vous
We learned to sing-a-daisy
That song "The Marsellaisy"
Tourel Marchon Le Continent
We learned at Killaloe
Mais Oui! M'sieu did cry
Ara of course you can, says I
Oh no no no said he in some surprise
When a fella up from Clare
Heard his mother called a Mere
He struck M'sieu a fist between the eyes
"Oh call for ze Gendarmes",
He cried in some alarm,
Yerra there's no such thing says I about the place
"Comment?" he made reply
Ara come on yourself says I
And I scattered all the features of his face
Now boys we had some fun
You should have seen it when we were done
How his eyeballs one by one did disappear
And two doctors from the South
Took some days to find his mouth
Which had somehow got concealed behind his ear
Then he swore an awful oath
He'd have Law agin us both
And then he'd leave both Limerick and Clare
For he found it wouldn't do
To teach French in Killaloe
Not unless he had a face or two to spare.
You may take of Bonaparty
You may talk about McCarthy
Or any other party oh comment vous portez-vous
We learned to sing-a-daisy
That song "The Marseillasy"
Tourel Marchon Le Continent
We learned at Killaloe

Brilliant idea
New dress code for traveling Connacht fans, Bermuda shorts for everyone, but I am not giving up my kilt for no one. :woohoo:[/quote]

When exactly are you likely to be bothered by what the conditions are like.
When you get there, you will be going to the Bar. (inside)
When you get up. Breakfast and or hangover therefore to the Bar (inside)
When you go to the Game, Dinik, therefore Bar (inside)
After the Gams, guess what, more drink, therefore Bar (inside)
Morning after game. Breakfast and or hangover therefore to the Bar again (inside)
Trip home, mostly inside.
Or am I missing something.
A lot of sense in that, Fourdogs, however can you imagine the fashion faux pas of turning up in Biarritz overdressed?!
