I got the email saying I was successful, got three for France and three for Canada. No word until about half five on the deadline day for payment to say it hadn't gone through. Rang bank who said it did, three days later refund to card from RWC they won't admit it was there fault so sitting here queuing to get on to website since 10.02 still a quarter of a circle to go   :S

Here is the last email I got off them 4 days ago. I'll probably be in the same boat as you Droptheclaw

Thanks for getting in touch, sorry about the delay.

We are still looking into your query, and will be in touch when we have more information.

Kind regards,

Daniel

RWC Update:

Wheelchairgate concludes. Got a call from them saying that the tickets are indeed in error but they can't reallocate and I'll just be getting a refund and no tickets :(

Gonna have another pop at the earlybird opportunity on the 26th. Still gutted that I missed out though. Ah well. At I won't have to have me legs broken.

Hi all, Connacht fan from New Jersey here. I got tickets to Italy, France and the QFs (among others not involving Ireland); if you guys are going to have any meetups prior to the matches I'd love to stop by for a few drinks. Also, hoping for a Connacht home match on either the weekend of the 12th or 9/18/15 because I'm planning on a week in Galway before heading over to England.

I went for Cat B with no upgrade. Stupid expensive tickets, over 200 euros per. Have a trip of a week planed with some of the lads, starting with the Italy game ending on the France game.

Prices are a joke tbh, very unfair and then to top it all a bizarre and hard to explain balloting system. looked at the prices when they came out and couldnt believe them, add in travel and accommodation and you have a very expensive few weeks.

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Jammy git... ;)
What level tickets did you go for, did you get them at that level or did you tick the option to go up a level and get those..?

Me I went for the London games (Romania @ Wembley and Italy @ Olympic Stadium), and ended up with just two for the Romania game.

To be honest the tournament might be fine when the rugby gets going, but they are losing so much goodwill with the pricing and the poxy allocation processes they've put in place.

When I compare what they're doing here with how well France 2007 was run, it's absolutely laughable. The ease (and even with more smaller stadiums) of getting ticket for Ireland games for France 2007, I had a block ticket for all the group games plus a 1/4 Final ticket guaranteed, and paid way less than I'm being charged for a tier lower for RWC2015.

Gaillimh, let me know how it goes and what they say; most of my friends and family who have applied missed out on tickets, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they're going to accommodate us. It's either that or have my wife break my legs in the run up (no pun intended) to the RWC....

The wheelchair is for Seamus so you don't have to carry him round on your shoulders.
