Well ... you know what they say .... you have to wear the blue before you ware the green. Ryan hasn't done anything to deserve a place in the match day squad and I've seen almost every (if every) Leinster game this season. That said Treadwell's form has been poor, he was shocking against La Rochelle. I dare to think what would of happened to him if Schmidt was the Ulster coach that day. I would definitely have Dillane on the bench over those two right now, he's physical which is needed against the Bok and he's played against SA already.

I'm getting seriously sick of this Leinster bias in relation to team selection and the media outlets. Why wasn't there such an outrage when Leinster's Strauss got capped for Ireland ..... If Ben Te'o stuck around for an extra year and declared for Ireland (which was the plan) would there be such an national debate and outrage from the like of Neil Francis ... Not a chance because he would of been a Leinster player and that's the difference. They see Aki taking Ringrose's place in the national team in the longterm and there lies the issue .... those blackrock boys stick together (Francis, Fitzgerald, O'Driscoll ... ) Hence the status of the latest blackrock superstars (Ringrose and Ryan) have within the national/dublin media (massively overhyped) and don't get me even started on Gavin Cummiskey ....

Anyway .... That's my rant done for the day. Munster vs Baabaas free stream online is a billy bonus for the day.

Is the baabaas game anywhere on tv, I'm suddenly a hell of a lot more interested in it, hell we've equal representation in it as we do in the Ireland team. Really disappointed for TOH, as he would have been a better option on the wing ahead of Conway, and obviously a better option at FB, they are saying how important the RWC is and that we're building towards it, but if Kearney is still in place at 15 come 2019 the I'll go off the head, disappointed but not really surprised to see Ultan omitted although I prefer Treadwell to Ryan on any note, Ruddock maybe unfortunate at the names he had to beat to get a start as he's in better form this season than any of them. Glad though that Marmion retains his no 21 jersey as I really feared he was at risk of missing out to Luke McGrath, based off McGrath's kicking game and the fact that he's more like Murray

Darren Sweetnam and James Ryan against the Saffers....wtf?

I know Ryan has been the anointed one from the U20's, but he's been no more than competent for Leinster .

Sweetnam, he's no Shergar and hardly a try machine by any standard...but doesn't seem to matter if you wear Blue or Red jerseys...

Got to feel for Finlay & Denis too.....

Is there any particular reason why they weren't mentioned in the press along with the other Irish players called up previously???? Bit strange.

That response implies that the apology would not have been published had Mul not said anything and it's only out of order cos it was pointed it out to them

It's a total cop out of an apology. Why apologise to Muldoon and not Bundee? And claiming it doesn't represent the views of the company or that you rectified it immediately is patent bs too, there are screenshots floating about of BOD having liked it...

All of us at Ultimate Rugby would like to apologise for any hurt caused by the post on our Facebook page regarding Bundee Aki's call up to the latest Ireland squad.

The image originating from the Instagram account @rugbymemesofficial was reposted to our channel by our young NZ based employee who manages our SH coverage.

When the rest of the UR team discovered the post, we removed it from our social media channels as we do not condone any of the perceived undertones from the image in question.

Our employee apologised directly to John Muldoon last night as soon as he became aware of the fall out from the post.

We would all like to wish Bundee Aki the best for the upcoming November Tests & extend our apologies to anyone who was offended by the post.

Siob wrote: I wonder how much of the bitching about Bundee is because he's been one of the best centres since he got here and people don't want to see him displace their own player. Jared Payne was used as a stop gap away from his natural position and Stander was qualified for about a year before his first cap, I wouldn't be surprised if Bundee's first cap is the first of the AIs.

Stander qualified after the World Cup and was picked at the first available opportunity, for the 2016 6 nations, he started and won man of the match in the first game after becoming eligible.

O'Driscoll's real problem with Bundee is that he'll be a feature in the Irish midfield to the World Cup and beyond, and that seriously pisses him off as the self-declared shouter-in-chief for a Henshaw/Ringrose midfield. Not content with poaching Henshaw for Leinster by constantly being in his ear when he was "mentoring" him for Ireland it really irks him now that his preferred 12/13 combo will be split.
Let's not forget last year too his championing Luke McGrath over Kieran Marmion. O'Driscoll is a kn@b.
