Terms were acceptable, but the contract negotiants fell down recently when my 5' 7" height became a problem. To be honest I am very upset at the unprofessional attitude of Connacht Rugby, they should have mentioned a height expectation before I applied for the job.

Next season we'll have Muldowney plus a new signing probably starting with Kearney and Swifty subbing.
With the new guy coming in (can't say name) and Muldowney, it has the makings of a serious 2nd row partnership
Yesterday you didn't have a name, today you can't say it.
Tease!
Got the heads up awhile ago. Lips are sealed though, have been told to keep it to myself
All I'll say is we're moving up in the world
Would the initials be AB by any chance? Don't have a clue really but call it wishful thinking!

browne doesnt have the bulk for 2nd row full time. hes only 16.5 st or thereabouts. hes athletic tho and imo hes a very good 6. he and mul with heffernan in reserve covers us well at 6 imo and brownes height offerd cover for 2nd row in emergencies like tomorrow.
Agreed. It's one of the reasons why I wanted Jordi Murphy to come as he can play across the backrow and give us cover in the 7 & 8 slots. Still think we could do with another signing in the backrow just to bulk up our options there. Grace and Anderson add nothing.

The Irish team will feel the loss more, they'll be struggling to find anyone if there's another injury or two in the 2nd row.

He played until the final whistle.
No questioning his commitment.

Mike McCarthy is unlikely to feature again in the tournament after sustaining medial knee ligament last weekend while Simon Zebo is out for roughly 10 weeks after his operation on a broken bone in his foot earlier this week.
Anyone know how bad it is? Will he be missing for us for any length of time?
