I, for one, wouldn't want that swop.
And if Johne Murphy is not good enough for Munster, then he's not good enough for Connacht either.

I wouldn't be so hot on Carr coming back atm, I feel like he has gone backwards at leinster, obviously that's mainly cause he wasn't getting the game time but if he were to come back how long would it take for him to be brought up to speed? Can we afford to bring in a winger who still has the same defensive frailties that he's always had, have we not progressed at all beyond that? Also, I don't know how many others feel this was the case, but I think connacht's attack plan was formed around him before, could he play in the newer more holistic system, does he need to be the number one go to finisher to shine?

Getting Carr and Cronin back would be kick ass.

Don't worry about that Ulster will sort us out...

munster have a hell of a lot of hookers on their books atm and i dont think its a priority position for them atm.
the player id like to see signed by munster is hagen. hes probably the best available iq tight head and its the one position dont have any obvious strength in depth. botha has been immense for last 2 seasons but if he got injured! they seem intent on sticking with archer tho which is a big concern.

if this happened it woul be a great move. if they got rael as well it would really give strength to the front row. carr returning would really put pressure on toh to up his workrate and fetu to deliver tries. a good 2nd row signing and that would be a good bit of business for this season assuming we keep macca and george.

just seen your retweet on twitter now.
id be really happy to see him back, not many young good hookers round at the min.
we badly need a hooker, flavin might retire and ER is taking up an NIQ without setting the world alight, get cronin and keep JHW to study him and even give FLA an 1year deal as back up.
if this is true i will say well done for having balls to actually move for game time rather than sitting on the bench, 2nd choice at leinster and 3rd choice at Ireland and could be 4th if he wasnt getting game time with leinster.
Daily mail might not be the best paper around but they are sponsors of connacht rugby so might be alot of truth in it. IT MAKES SENSE

Interesting. Leinster do have Sexton and Dundon to fall back on and I'm sure there's some academy hotshot I haven't heard of and Cronin is certainly ambitious enough. Great if it happens but won't be holding my breath until I hear it announced.
