He's been quite good for us but nothing that couldn't be replaced.
If he's moving back to Leinster I'd imagine it's for largely personal reasons.
I take it all back: kelleher was OUTSTANDING tonight

Betty Swallocks wrote: The view on Leinsterfans is that Cian sees himself primarily as a full back rather than a winger and sees himself with an easier path to playing 15 regularly with Leinster (complementing and eventually replacing the aging Rob Kearney) than getting ahead of Darragh and TOH here at Connacht. His agent has therefore been mandated to fly this kite with a Leinster-friendly Independent reporter.
Wonder if it's the same Indo clown who has Ultan going to Munster and Denis Buckley moving abroad in this morning's edition. Jesus, it's a right comic isn't it!
Could see Buckley moving abroad. Probably make more money doesn’t owe Connacht anything and doesn’t look likely to be capped.

Besides Kelleher is a useful player, but given the choice I'd rather hold on to any of Niyi, Healy, Tiernan or Leader thb.

Stay in Connacht become a regular, show case your talents in the pro 14 and Europe or go to Leinster never see the light of day for a HC game (lets face it hes not going to get ahead of Larmour,Kearney or Lowes) and play a bit part in the Pro14 during the internationals only to be cast aside again at the business end of the season.
Im not saying hes a bad player, far from it and I like him as a player, its just that there are plenty ahead of him atm in Leinster and thats not counting those that are on the up there as well.

Yeah, his lucky blue boxers just aren't going to last if it continues. No choice for the lad really.
How did we miss this before? The jocks are Dublin blue. Of course he's moving home. He's been telling us all season
That or he just owns one pair of jocks, and if thats the case, then he deserves a better contract. Have you seen his jeans? They must be ancient. Rips all over them

Saying that, I wouldn't be heart broken to see him go, as long as we signed a decent replacement.

That said, if he does go all the best to him and it's completely understandable why he might make that choice.
