Even more impressive when you consider who was out and lets not forget this was our first game with the new coach when on the other hand Dai Young has made Wasp's one of the best attacking side's in europe.

Complete collapse understandable as Wasps had one more game in the bag and Academy boys played in 2nd half

We have to focus on the fact we dominated Wasps during more than an hour

okay these last few minutes have been disgraceful, I know its only pre season and I'm not going to act like it will mean much going forward but it seemed like any time Wasps got the ball in the last 10 minutes they scored, really not good enough. Scoreline won't reflect it but we gave Wasps a very good game and with the players to come back id be more positive now than a few weeks ago.

FFS we concede another try, really is a shame that they had to undo the very good first 60-65 minutes this last 10 minutes or so.

Contrary to the first 60 the last 5 minutes or so defensively has been very poor, gifted them 14 points. 26-22, disappointing but its pre season so its not the end of the world.

Okay I was a little OTT in my praise there but still this is very positive from Connacht, means f all if we do shit in the league but gives us something to build on, its a pretty good Wasps team swell.

5-19 to Connacht, this is the complete opposite of Connacht last season. Last season it was a case of what if in all our big games but right here under loads of pressure defensively but concede zip and then when the chance comes we take it!

But I do have to give Connacht loads of credit defensively, Wasp's putting them under huge pressure and no matter what they won't crack. Hope I don't eat my words and Wasp's score 4+ in the second half but not the worst start at all!!!

Discipline has been very poor, I know its only pre season but with such a young side I don't think we can afford to be this ill-diciplined.
