You're debating with someone who didn't see the game.

Our discipline was very bad in the scrum and maul which was very frustrating and in a championship game we would have had a good few in the bin.
Last night has personally raised my spirits for the season ahead.
How did O'Donnell and Thornbury play when introduced.

Jack singled out a number of times in the Wasp's match report
I read somewhere that Ronaldson hobbled off at half time, which is worrying.
[edit] Eh, it appears that most of what I've posted here is stuff I read further up the thread.

IMO Connemara Man made reasonable comments , ie big changes at half time , game time , protect players etc. This is a friendly!! We didn't even see it and Dobby is on a rant! Read your post, Dobby Welcome to a new season Jesus wept !
I have a mute button for Dobby i.e. I see his name and don't read , I advise the same, he's a troll!!!!

Replacing a team that won the first half with 13 players that were a mix of academy, a debutant and some senior heads had an impact
The point of a pre season friendly is for players to get a run out. And see against decent opposition how things work. Read Joey's post above a lot to be positive about.
Let's give them a few league games before throwing them under the bus
It is something that irritates the daylights out of me. We hare open season to other players. On a 5M line we are simply are a walk-in. We have not one player that can resist. If you watch last season, it is blatant. That would be a start

The Connacht match report
13 changes at half time, no wonder the second half was so different
I am bordering on getting annoyed. Connemara Man. So we changed players. Are you honestly telling me that we lost the game..
We lose these games all the time. You are just giving an excuse.

Crosbie looked awesome when he came on. Clearance kicks were spot on, ran some brilliant lines and bossed the game for the first 20 minutes of the second half. His place kicks looked good too. Carty got better when moved to 12. Could be something to look at. He seemed to run impressive lines with speed which I have rarely seen from him. Different player at 12.
Mitchell looked very comfortable at scrum half. Crisp passing and made good decisions.
Scholes and Leader looked like a good partnership with some nice kick chases.
Our scrum was shocking but the lineout was working really well and used as good platforms to attack.
Our passing was top notch (brought me back to 2016 season). I think we miss placed 1 pass all game which is a massive improvement.
Worrying sight was Ronaldson limping off at half time. Apart from that a clean bit of health hopefully. I still think Healy has so more to offer. He has not been his best since 2016. He lacks in defensive duties and dosnt have that edge we have seen of him going forward.
Without Wade wasps didn't look too dangerous. I think KK will be reasonably happy, good platform to build on.
