Could always do with someone to mind the set-squares in case we need to plot a graph or anything.

So it's a Glaws win and no TBPs for anyone and we're set, right? (until Saturday night at least)
Today's utterly useless fact is that if Cardiff don't beat Lyon away, they will become the first team ever to top a pool with a negative points difference. That one might be handy for a table quiz sometime (though I'd doubt it)

Just saw on the Enisei website that 14 players not making the trip to Tbilisi as they are rested for Russia duty in the Rugby Europe Championship. So no real chance of any favours there I suspect.

Don't ask me about the insane numbers, it makes me realise I should ease-off a bit about Challenge Cup calculations....

Eating cheese late at night methinks....

I wish! just potato/bacon at 8, nothing special!

Perhaps a small wager with PP on the correct score - you could retire on the winnings and have lots of cheese:)

Correct, you can catch the D001 Bus to San Mamés Stadium form the Bus Station situated in Paseo de Federico García Lorca,1.
It's very near to the Tabakalera donostia (Museum/Library/Cafe/Exhibition space in an old Tobacco Factory). on the far side of the river to the commercial centre of San Sebastian.

The Bus drops you at the Bus Station [Bi-estacio] on 31 Calle de Briñas, less than 1/2km from the Stadium itself, and is operated by Lurraldebus...
Looks like the fare was about €12 return in 2016., but prices do vary..

You can find Schedule and Fare info here: www.pesa.net/pesa/en/horarios

Or book through here... www.alsa.com/en/web/bus/home

I looked at setting Madrid as a base purely because there are plenty of flights in and out. Train/Bus are about 5 hrs away and 4 hr drive in car. I hadn't started looking at accommodation yet in Bilbao - is it really bad (price and availability wise)? San Seb is an amazing place to visit and closer (2 hr train) but no direct flights to Dublin.

Has anyone actually copped a reasonable (in terms of finances) way of actually getting to Bilbao? Accommodation is poison in the city and I'm finding it hard to get clear information on where nearby would work as a place from where you could commute by public transport with any ease

Stade's head coach Greg Cooper is leaving after the Pau game on Sunday week, which probably won't help their preparations.
Meanwhile their owner Hans-Peter Wild was down at the Kings Cheetahs game on Saturday amid rumours he's going to get involved with them.

I'd take us to do enough to finish ahead of Gloucester. I presume they'll win at home to Pau but probably not by a large margin. Even with a bonus point for them they play before us so we'll know our target to finish ahead of them in the seedings. Once we are professional early on and put the game to bed I think we can run in a number of tries later in the game.

That leaves Stade v Edinburgh which is the last game. Hopefully Stade are still alive when that game comes around. They are 10 points off Lyon in 7th in the league so this looks their only avenue back into the Champions Cup at this stage.
