When asked if moving to Munster was attractive:No, to be honest I don’t think so because Connacht gave me all the opportunities I ever had and it’s no disrespect to Munster at all, but Connacht were definitely there for me.
And through the relative success that I might have had the last few years, it would have been a shame to turn my back on them that quickly and go back, I don’t think it’s a good sign of character anyway
Nice to see a player who has so much respect for those that have helped to get him where he is......unlike others.
He's some man. I'd love to see him feature at the weekend for Ireland. I wonder was the "I don’t think it’s a good sign of character anyway" comment a slight dig at Robbie? We'll never know, and I certainly don't want to re-ignite that debate! Just delighted to have someone of his caliber re-signing (along with Bundee obviously).

Nice article, I'm not sure he gets all of the credit due to him, shame that he's leaving. It would be nice if the clan marked it in some way.
