It sounds like a funny story (which it is, kind of) but it was potentially very serious and we would feel differently if Bundee, Henshaw and Marmion (along with the others who were there but not named?) had come back with serious injuries as a result of their actions and had missed vital games or worse. In theory sticking up for your mates is all well and good but they didn't know who's house they were going to or who might be there. It was unnecessarily dangerous and potentially created some enemies.

Err maybe we are looking at it from different angles. I think they are dead right to stand up to these low life's and out them in their rightful place.

Do I think they should be doing it publicly? No but not because I believe what they did was wrong. These degenerates are taking over the whole country because decent folk are afraid to stand up to them.

If not build a bridge buddy as these guys were just sticking up for their mate and I'm pretty sure they didn't know they were going to be in the papers over it.

People are too precious these days.

Apart from maybe sending Henshaw to do some penance in Leinster I'd remind them of their responsibilities and let them off.

These folks represent us. I am not happy with their representation.

Utterly stupid. These players represent a province and a lot of young kids who idolize them. They deserve significant sanctions. This does not represent Connacht rugby.

So, I suppose this goes here.

Balls.ie: When Robbie Henshaw Said He Was Sending Bundee Aki After Whoever Stole His Laptop, He Wasn't Joking

Today's Sunday World reports that Connacht players, including Aki and Kieran Marmion, rocked up to a Galway estate having used the 'Find My Laptop' app to locate Henshaw's missing property.

This happened nearly two weeks ago - at 5pm on May 3rd - the day after Henshaw posted to Instagram.

Henshaw's laptop was in the possession of the McDonagh family.

The Connacht players' arrival at the estate sparked in a confrontation with the McDonaghs, video of which can be seen on the Sunday World's website. It ended with the arrival of Gardaí.

Sunday World: Don't ruck with us!

Gardai were forced to intervene when members of the Connacht Rugby team confronted a traveller who was in possession of a laptop stolen from team-mate Robbie Henshaw.

Video obtained by the Sunday World shows the moment team-members – including 6ft 100kg Kiwi Bundee Aki and 6ft 86kg Kieran Marmion – arrived at the door of the McDonagh family in the Sli Burca estate in Galway seeking the return of the stolen computer.

The Connacht skipper, who has given 13 years of service to the Irish province, was presented with his award by Welsh great and Pro12 chairman Gerald Davies at the awards night in Dublin."

Awarded for recognition of his outstanding service to the development of Connacht and Irish rugby, his performances and service to his province, the tournament as a whole and the game of rugby union.

(Paraphrased from Kellocks win of same award last season)

Just listened to Radio 1 with a review of the weekends sport. There were two people talking about the hurling, soccer, rugby etc. One of them was talking about Connachts win and how the red card swung the game in Connachts favour. Then she admitted that she did not even see the game.
Isn't it great how you can be given a platform on national radio to talk about a game and not even bothering your a**e watching it.

Yeah when we played the challenge cup semi (against sale I think?) I was in a pretty big seated temporary stand down the college road end. I can't imagine that would increase capacity too much though with seats?

Considering what's going on with the ticket sale this morning, I really hope they can increase capacity a bit or there will be a lot of disappointed people.

That man was swamped for autographs after the game. It took him a long time to get out of the grounds.
