Agree. It's a strange comment to make. In Mayo, GAA always comes first. No questions asked.
Galway has the football & hurling to contend with.
Roscommon is also a very proud footballing county.
I'd say soccer is the main sport in Sligo.
Leitrim, again they love their GAA.

Agreed, reminds me of the time my car got broken into in Mervue a few years ago. The whole inside of the car was destroyed. The Gardai actually brought the young lads home to their parents and I had to walk home.

Mind you, this whole affair just demonstrates the lack of capability and/or desire of the Garda to solve anything. If members of the public can recover their computer using an app and some attitude, you have to ask why don't the Guards do that....there will be a thousand reasons, but none of them will be their fault.
