As the season goes on and your data set gets bigger it would also be interesting to know the median value for each team as well.
For each team it would be 50-50 that their next referee would be above or below the median value (plus number games in round/number referees in pool if you want to be really fussy), i.e. where the spread would be if you were betting on how experienced the next ref is going to be.
It might also let us make statements like "On any given weekend it's even money we will get a referree above/below the 13th most experienced referee on a panel of 18."

A better indication might be the truncated mean, which is the average value, but the highest and lowest values are ignored to reduce values that would knock the stats out of whack

Well, it's early days yet and there are experienced refs still to return from the RWC, so maybe it'll even out by the end of the season.

I don't understand why the draws for these refs isn't random. The bias to give the more experienced officials to the better teams seems wrong to me.
