Battle of the Whispering Wood. Started quite well for the Lannisters but ended in a complete rout by the Starks. Afterwards Tywin (Foley) had to retreat to the abandoned fortress Harrenhal (Thomond). I don't know if he complained to the media all the way but probably sent out a few Ravens alright.

I'm not sure if Battle of the Whispering Wood is such a good analogy bearing in mind what happens to the Starks afterwards!

As regards Foley, it was more like Stannis' come-uppence at the end of the last season. Shorn of his most trusted liutenant, trusting in superstition and refusing to see the reality of the situation, he never really had a chance, did he?

Unbelievable result. What a match (apart form the first 20). Great to see the Sportsground hopping as it will be against Glasgow. Better still our guys get a well earned break going into the final 2 matches. It's good to still have a possible home semi in our hands! Come on lads Finish strong!!!

Well I’m still absolutely buzzing after that. What a match and what a night! I feared the worst after seeing Zebo skip through after that beautiful offload from I think Holland? But the lads didn’t panic and in truth it was a hard-fought but comfortable victory. Bundee was incredible. The fist pumping, chest beating energy he exudes is infectious. If his injury is anything other than minor I’d be very worried about our chances. How many man of the match awards has he won now? Player of the season for me. Apart from the first 20 minutes or so, Munster were awful. That’s the worst Munster team I’ve ever seen. They still have great players but collectively they haven’t a clue what to do when things go wrong. Foley might have been ‘perplexed’ by some of Whitehouse's decisions but I think they were lucky to escape with only 2 yellows. They were killing the ball at every ruck up until Holland got carded. I lost count of the high tackles. Is Saili able to tackle anywhere below the neck? It was ridiculous. The gulf between the sides can be highlighted by the fact that their All Black centre couldn’t ground the ball when diving over the line and our prop forward could. We are light years ahead of them at the moment and they know it. The Munster fans who are usually good craic were very prickly where I was standing anyway.

As a Glasgow fan that was a thoroughly enjoyable demolition of Munster.

Final game of the season should be epic- really really hope we don't meet in the semis! Can't wait for May now.

Just rewatched the game. What a team performance. Do hope Finlay is ok. It looked like Stander possibly hit him with a closed fist. Potentially a citing

I've still got a big grin on my face from that.

What a match, really something else. After the opening jitters, we really looked comfortable. Savage performances all around, we bossed in the scrum, Marmion and O'Leary were solid, our backs were outstanding. Matt was quiet in comparision to Niyi and Bundee, which says more about the latter than the former. Kept the heads, no silly penalties, unforced errors were there but were well handled, took the chances when they came. Amazing.

And thanks to all for stalling around for the Hall of Fame thing afterwards. Between that and the chanting at the game, I may not be able to speak for a week.

edit: I don't know what it takes to take Bundee out. Inhuman!

Rewatching match (it up on YouTube)
I'm up to 24 mins, Munster just got their last score
Gotta say, Niyi has been brilliant in the opening quarter- twice saving certain tries from pouncing on Murray's block on O'Leary to the monster hit on Earl's who caught cross field kick and was virtually in..
