Looks like Clan tickets are sold out. Anyone know how many were available?

It's a bit odd that if you go to connachtrugby.tickets.ie/ you get links for tickets to the Glasgow game and season tickets, but if you navigate in through the tickets.ie homepage and get to tickets.ie/events.aspx/artist/connacht-rugby/112543 there is not a season ticket in sight. They might sell them even faster if they were easier to find!
Like surely people buying tickets for the Glasgow game are exactly the type of people you want to upsell to a season ticket ...
They'll be all like "oh no, there are only dead-ball line tickets left, if only there was a way I could guarantee a Clan Terrace ticket for every game" ... there should be a guy jumping outta the screen, smacking them across the face with a complimentary goody bag and shouting "buy a season ticket, you d***!", except maybe more polite and less violent.

Heard that over 2500 plus season tickets already sold (way ahead of last year at the same time) & the clan stand will for sure be sold out by month end - if you need to renew then renew now....Lecture over

Yeah. From what I've heard, the clan tickets will be gone very soon.

Rang today - Renewed Clan ticket today over the phone - no bothers - €249 - all done in less than 2 minutes - Sweetest 'self-present' all year !! I'd say they'll be gone by the end of the month from what I'm hearing - I'm not proud enough not to welcome the 'band-wagoners on board' - Success ALWAYS breeds Success...

That's a very good sign. I do have a few friends who have bought season tickets for the Clan already, and they've never had one before. Better get on to the rest of the lads, and get them organised quick so

Agree totally on the value for money comment on the season ticket. Back in the Celtic Tiger madness I used to head across the water reasonably regularly to watch Premier League matches. I get my Connacht season ticket now for less than the price of one of those weekends.

I was chatting to some relations yesterday who were visiting from the UK. They are football fans, but watched the rugby on Saturday evening on the telly. They knew I'd been at it, so we got talking about season ticket prices. As we chatted, Arsenal were on the telly and apparently it's about 2 grand sterling for an arsenal season ticket. Now, I know it's apples and oranges on many fronts so I'm not comparing the two, but the conversation just got me thinking about how much enjoyment I get from my season ticket, and what amazing value it is for the price (in my opinion).

So if anyone wants to renew their Main Stand season ticket for a Clan season ticket. The way to do it is to use the installment option. I had to do that this year and I had the option to choose which stand I wanted to renew.
Probably not a problem now as the tickets are on general sale but something to remember for next time.

I don't remember that. This season it seems to be all over the place. It says I didn't attend any of the pre-season games, Connacht Rugby Supporters Club at the end of last year, Irish rugby training session. That's all true.
However, it also says I missed the Newcastle, Zebre and Treviso games. I was definitely there. Even says I missed the first game of the season against the Dragons.... Me-thinks that their scanners are a bit off.

That's the last thing the Clan needs. The two directors of a company I used to work for both have season tickets but rarely ever go to games. They just have the tickets to maybe saunter down to the Inter-Pros or Euro games. Not a fan of that.

I heard some talk in France last weekend of the possibility of Clan season ticket numbers being capped, in order to keep some space for more lucrative hospitality packages. I have no idea if it'll come to pass, and it obviously won't affect those renewing. I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but if they do find themselves out of space in the Clan before a ball is even kicked next season, surely something will need to be done to increase the "covered" capacity.
