Ok after Friday's disappointment, this is a good game to try and get back on the horse. Treviso still have no points in the league, have conceded 24 tries, 4 try bonuses and have a scoring difference of -120. The asterisk I'd put beside that though is that they are trying to blend a large number of new players into their squad after a number of key departures, have played some of the stronger opponents and have had 3 away from home but still looking at a bit of the game today, they don't look in good shape.
This has been a tough game since they entered the league and I expect no different on Friday. I don't think anyone will forget how easily they beat us over there last year in a hurry and its less than 18 months since they finished in 7th in the table on 50 points. However, they look to have been decimated during the summer which is sad to see as I thought they had a lot to bring to the league but from our point of view we need to be clinical and go out there and do a job. The performances so far have mixed the good and the bad. Being completely honest, if we are making genuine progress we should win this.
If we can go into the European games with 18 points on the board, it'll have been a fine start to the season, if we don't win here it'll really knock us back a long way.
