Great start to the season. We really should have got the win last year against Edinburgh, let the early lead slip and should have been in for 2 tries late on. Onward's and upwards hopefully

www.knockon.ie will be doing live updates based on GBFM commentary tomorrow, it will be a good place to join in on the banter for the match.


Knockon has been doing some sterling work doing live updates for EVERY RWC game and will continue to do so for the rest of the tournament, why not have a look and join in the craic.

They didn't for the first two weeks, I think the focus has been on upping the quality of the commentary, (which is only fair if they're getting into bed with RaboDirect.)

Rob and the boys have improved the professionalism of the coverage in the opening weeks, it's been quite noticeable. I guess it's hard to keep that up and try to do text updates at the same time.

(And by improving the professionalism I mean it hasn't always been obvious they're Connacht fans  )

Really glad to see Reynecke in the starting 15.  Brings much more playmaking ability and rucking violence to the table, in my opinion.

I agree, we can't let them go too far ahead at the start. I do like Reynecke at hooker. I think he will give us some good go forward ball with his running. I though Muldoon gave away a few too many penalties last week. I hope this was a once off, we can't give Edinburgh any gifts of 3 points away from home.

Edinburgh are hungry for their 1st win. While they have lost 2 games, they have been scoring tries. Something we have not really been doing. It's going to be another tough game and I'd be happy with a LBP, delighted with a win.

Yep, spot on. They have been playing well so far and there is till a lot of talented players in the squad ( Simon Webster and Roddy Grant). The big dangerman is Tim Visser who scores tries for fun. He's Dutch born and in the qualifying process for Scotland, think he's eligble for the 6N but not for RWC but he's an absolute shoe in for a spot once qualification is completed.

They will absolutely be targeting this for the win and will look to get away form us early as it's a home game. We have to start quickly, absolute must....
