Main takeaway from this: we are box office poison for the Welsh teams.

People say we dont pull the crowd at away games but looking through averages it disagree

Leinster average 19,591 - vs connacht 18,500 sellout

Ulster average 10,342 - vs connacht 10,052 sellout first game without Nevin, RIP.

Treviso average 3,631 - vs connacht 4,850 nearly 33% increase

Zebre average 2,025 - vs connacht 2,025 average B)

Edinburgh average 4,520 - vs connacht 4,171 349 under which is not bad

Glasgow average 4,180 - vs connacht 3,646 534 under again not bad

Munster average 14,135 - vs connacht 8,203 if this was in limerick it would of been close to sellout as history show us, this gathers the crowds

Dragons average 5,361 (rodney park) 6,518 (MS) - vs connacht 4,168 2teams at the bottom

Ospreys average 9,273 - vs connacht 8,231 1,042 below average at the champions is good

Cardiff average 8,017 (CAP) 8,933 (MS) - vs connacht 5,236 3,000 missing

Scarlets average 7,923 - vs connacht 5,886 2,037 under

Great numbers, but the Leinster and Biarritz attendances weren't good this year, there didn't seem to be any buzz around the week before the Biarritz game...

"Our march is quite slow y'know, when we get to where we want to get to, it's going to take time, but when we get there it's going to be fantastic." - Johnny O'Connor 2013

As a mark of thanks to RTE for finally showing the match I have decided not to watch it on TV. I'll be in the Clan Terrace.

The RaboDirect PRO12 is in line to record its best ever attendances since the competition changed to a home and away format ten seasons ago.

Crowds broke through the one million mark in round 21 last weekend, a full round earlier than last season, and with seven games still to play (including the rearranged Beneton Treviso v Connacht game) ticket sales amongst the twelve participating teams have increased by 4.9% compared to this point last year.

RaboDirect PRO12 Tournament Director, David Jordan, commented: "this is the third season in a row that ticket sales have broken the one million mark, and each year we are reaching that landmark earlier in the competition."

"The tournament has seen have seen average gates grow year on year since the inclusion of the Italian teams in 2010/11, a testament to both the rugby on offer in all four Unions that participate in the RaboDirect PRO12, and to the fans' commitment to their teams.

"We have a mouthwatering final round of games yet to come, with five teams still in with a realistic chance of making the top four, and three battling it out to try and secure home advantage in the Play-Offs, it will be a nerve-racking end to the regular season."

The broadcast schedule for final round of games on Friday 3 May can now be confirmed:
• Connacht v Glasgow Warriors at the Sportsground, 19:45 - RTE / BBC ALBA
• Leinster v Ospreys at RDS, Dublin, 19:45 - TG4 / S4C
• Scarlets v Benetton Treviso at Parc y Scarlets, 19:45 - BBC W
• Ulster v Cardiff Blues at Ravenhill, 19:45 - BBC NI
• Zebre v Munster at Stadio XXV Aprile, 19:45 local time - SPORT ITALIA
• Edinburgh Rugby v Newport Gwent Dragons at Murrayfield, 19:45 - not live

The order of the RaboDirect Play-Offs can also now be confirmed: Play-Off 1 (1st v 4th) will take place on Friday 10th May at 7.45pm (UK & Ireland, 8:45 Italy) and Play-Off 2 (2nd v 3rd) will be the following day, Saturday 11 May, at 7.35pm (UK & Ireland, 8.35 Italy). Venues and broadcasters will be confirmed once the qualifiers are finalised.

Yep, what I expected. RTE showing their bi-annual Connacht game from Galway just to pick up Eric's final game....

They had attendance for Saturday's game down as over 8000, which clearly was miles off. But they just add in the Cork season ticket holders to the actual attendees like we do...
