He's starting to become a right pain in the backside alright. I didn't realise til after I'd heard him licking Dave Kilcoyne's arse on RTE that he was his agent too...

Was speaking to some of my Munster supporting cousins and uncles over Christmas, none of them would be sorry to see Nagle go and the term 'flash in the pan' was used by more than one of them..

Ian Nagle has not got a new deal yet and is on our radar

Apparently, alot depends on the POC injury situation but as it is, Frankie Sheahan is his agent and is looking for too much money to stay at Munster

Right Rossie, get your red book out. Munster have announced 9 contrct extensions, so who don't they want and are any of them useful?

I think we can add Dave Moore and Frank Murphy to that. Flav is very likely to retire this summer, likewise JOC doesn't look up to the full 80 any more, ditto Swifty (pardon the heresy).

Any news on Rodney Ah You?

So I think we can say safely the following are gone next year:

Eoghan Grace
TJ Anderson
Mark McCrea
Ethienne Reynecke
Matt Healy
James Loxton

Sure we'll be able to add more soon.

vs treviso the ball was going out of play but one wrong bounce and treviso picked it up. mccrea's fault but a few others would of done the same, rather then give away a lineout.

as rossie said, hopefully new coach will come in as soon as possible. would love to bottle eric love for connacht but thats not winning us matches.

i assume our ceo knows why mccrea and also tj anderson is left out in the cold. most weekends there not even listed as injured. last game vs munster, jarvis came on as a winger, and didnt do anything worth talking about. i believe he can be good but not a winger. mccrea as the 23player would help us with him covering full back and wing rather then jarvis who would cover full back and out half ---with nikora already on the bench

there is no denying that mccrea has talent. he and toh are probably our two most talented wingers. heis body language and attitude on the pitch shouts lazy bastard though and that rubs every coach up the wrong way.

the treviso mistake came from that poor attitude and that imo is why he hasnt been forgiven as easily as others.
ive seen him play for the eagles and buccs a few times this season and everytime its the same story. bundles of ability but very little application. maybe he doesnt want to be here i dont know.

what i do know is that he is very quick, powerful, can catch and kick competently, has good awareneness and solid in defence. the only problem i see is attitude and application but thats a big problem.

maybe if we change coach at end of this month we might see a change of attitude. it could be as simple as a personality clash. hopefully the change happens then and we find out.

he will be as good as monahan if not better. he made awful mistake vs treviso and never had a real look in after. the little game time he had he scored a try or two and was THE ONLY PLAYER TO FOLLOW AND SUPPORT henry fafailli

Presume you mean McCrea not Monahan, and the try you refer to was against Cardiff at the start of last year when he ran a great trailer off Henry. He scored a nice try against Glasgow this year too.

Copeland plays most of his rugby at 6 these days. He kind of in the Andrew Browne mold; not that I'd mind having a second one about. Good to know about Pete Browne and he's someone we should target. Carr as well.

Pete Browne-, 2nd row from Quins, 6'7 18 and a half stone, good player. Irish qualified through his father and hasn't got much of a look in over the last 2 seasons with Quins.

Taisana Tu'ifua- Newcastle Falcons, can play lock or back row, wonder what kind of wedge he's on or whether there's clubs interested in him after the autumn internationals. An absolute brute, kind of what we're lacking in forwards especially when McCarthy goes.

Robin Copeland- Lock/back row Cardiff. Not sure if he signed a 2 year deal with them but he was a standout in the AIL and at English Championship. Haven't seen much of him with Cardiff but he'd be a very good addition for us.

Eoin Sherrif- 2nd row Saracens. Not got much of a look in with Sarries. Would be worth sounding out.

Micheal Heaney- Ulster. 3rd choice at Ulster, good player any time I've seen him. Knows he's not going to get up the pecking order realistically. Would be good competition between himself and Marmion.

Fionn Carr- Will definitely be let go at Leinster and would be worth taking back

Jamie Hagan- Definitely worth taking back, would leave plenty of competition in the front row

Leo Auva'a- Would add size to the pack which we're lacking, although he can afford to lose a small bit.

James Rael- Talented young hooker who's well down the rung at Munster and that won't be changing for the forseeable. Would be good to see him in B & I action initially.

Chris Cochrane-Talented young winger. We're likely to be letting Loxton and McCrea go, Vainikolo may get signed up by a bigger club so we'll need reinforcements as well as hoping some of our own young lads emerge.
