I wouldn't be too upset if he wasn't resigned.
I'd say he'll be kept, he's versatile if nothing else
To be fair to him, saw the highlights of Garryowen v Lansdowne and he made a class break for 1 Garryowen try. I think there's talent there but he has been shifted from pillar to post so it's been tough on him. He has been going well with Garryowen
He's still very young though isn't he? I think he's 22 I might be wrong but that's nothing with a flyhalf.

When I first read this I thought you meant the fancy catalogue!
Of all our NIQ signings Fets is the easiest to let go. We have strength of depth in our wings with some good newbies coming up. I think he'd do well in France. Frank Murphy was terrible last season and injured all this one. Think it's time he should be cut lose.
As for Nolan its a huge shame. Are we cutting him lose or is injury related?

But the truth is he doesn't score very often and has been ably replaced with Poolman who has 4 tries in only 9 Pro12 appearances. Holding on to Fets would do wonders for our depth, but in all honesty NIQ spots are limited and should be used on a more or less nailed on starter to lift the team to the next level, which I can't honestly say Fets has done.
I love his effort and I think he has tried his hardest while with us, but I don't think his time here can be called a major success and our NIQ needs are probably greater elsewhere.

Has he gotten a better offer or have we not made him one do you know?
Yup, has offers elsewhere
We're lucky George stayed, had at least 1 big offer from France

I'm pretty sure Rodney (if kept) won't count towards our NIQ count as he becomes IE during the season. Strauss, for instance, wasn't IQ at the start of this season but didn't count towards Leinster's total.

I've been suggesting them for years, think Ski Sunday on the BBC...
I know one supporter that would be thrilled anyway....Mooooo

4 signings in so far. Still another good few positions to fill. Today's signing may just turn a few heads of Irish qualified players elsewhere:
NIE players now:
1) White
2) Clarke
3) Naoupu
4) Parks
5) Vainikolo?? (Would hope he would stay now that we are seeing his best form)
Project Player: Poolman
And Ah You as another Project. He isn't IQ until Christmas next year, so at the start of next season he'll still be counted as NIQ. But I think as part of our 'special circumstances' we're allowed two projects.

Not sure yet on Flavin or AIL lads (Mata, Murphy and Healy)
Frank Murphy?
Not heard. Probably depends on who we can bring in and how Frank finishes the season if he gets back. Stringer would be ideal, but outside of that there's not much irish scrum half talent around. Michael Heaney would be ideal but Ulster fans are very keen on him and he looks to have a future there. Cillian Willis would be a good signing but one wonders whether he'd have any interest in returning.

I have to hand it to Sears and Co, they have been really on the ball so far with the signings. I would hope that we can keep Fetu, as he offers us something very different in that he's a terrific broken field runner. Would it be too much to hope that we are still in the market for a hooker? We also need cover at 6/7, 10 and 13 IMO and would love if Stringer was approached, in a mentor role to fasttrack young Marmion

Really gutted for the lad, two savage injuries. I hope he comes back, no luck but plenty of time for someone who was always acknowledged to have such potential.
