Well I've heard enough from people in better positions than most on this forum.
Also, what do you want from Connacht fans, for us all to agree on absolutely everything, so we look good? What benefit is that. Some people dont like Nacewa, and have every right to express their opinion.
I'm sorry you feel that this doesn't present Connacht supporters in a good light, but in all fairness, I'm not too bothered what fans of other teams think of me, and I really dont believe too many have ever visited this site

But did you ever think that he might feel he's playing well enough with Leinster (he is) to posssibly have warranted a Wolfhounds place anyway. And that pointing out to him that he's not involved is just being pretty petty. Pretty clear even to him (not being the brightest bulb in the box) what you were insinuating, especially adding Tiernan and Ronnie's names to the Tweet. He proabably shouldn't have responded though, Hago must have been better advised...
I don't get wasting energy harping on about percieved slights especially when the current squad need all our support...
Yes, I feel that Carr should have been in the Wolfhounds squad, and I also congratulated him a tweet on how well he has been playing for Leinster.
It may have been petty to point out he's not in the squad, but he's a professional athlete, and if he cant take critisism or slagging, that's his problem not mine. It reminds me of a Simpsons epside where Bart and Lisa are chanting "Daryl, Daryl" at a baseball player, who then starts crying.
I've heard a lot worse things said and cheered by the Connacht fans at matches.
Finally, I give all the support I can to Connacht. I make sure I get home for every single match I can. I've been to three away games this season already, and many more on previous years. I'm not trying to claim to be the number one fan, but please dont question my support to the team and players.

Would be great to get him back. His experience would be invaluable to our young lads and we could free up a NIQ slot.
I think Munster have made a jump at Downey already.
With regards to the Stanley/Isa thing - there is supposedly a whole lot of truth in that story.
I dont actually have a problem with the Leinster lad. He's more of a patomine villian in my eyes

I'd take him back in a flash at Connacht, but I really feel he could have stayed last season if he wanted to, but he felt he had to move on, and wont ever be coming back

I was taking the piss out of the Nacewa/Stanley conspiracy, I found it far fetched at the time and makes even less sense now.sea_point wrote: Jesus lads will you let it go FFS  , the Stanley/Nacewa conspiracy sh*te is really boring at this stage. That and the Hagan & Carr crap. All it does is give us a bad name, and we're dealing with enough at the minute...
I'm also sick of the Carr/Hagan cycle as well. For better or worse they're gone, I'm sure they've spent plenty of time since weighing up the pros and cons of their decisions since they went and I'd welcome the two back in a heartbeat. They were young lads doing what they believed was best for their careers, given the advice and representation available to them. There's no need to keep going around in ever decreasing circles.

As I have said many times previously No one an I mean NO ONE has even the smallest jot of proof that Nacewa did or say anything to scupper the proposed Stanley signing. Stanley is the one who should be catching sh*t if anything, for using us to broker a new and better deal with the Blues when he had no intention of leaving NZ.
At 26 he is just in his peak and only capped by the AB's less than 12 months previously, so why would he even really consider signing for a team that has always finished in the bottom three of their domestic league?
Any player in the world would have to research no further than the Internet to find out whether we are worthy of their talents......

What's not to like, brilliant broken play runner, hit 100% of his kicks on New Years in the Sportsground, seems fairly settled in Ireland, plays anywhere across the backs.
Of course he'd have to ring himself to advise against it...
I never condone booing your own team, but I think I'd have to find out Nacewas phone number if he ever signed for Connacht, and just boo down the phone at him constantly
Hope you're kidding...
Nacewa has proved himself one of the best value imports in European Rugby. However much Leinster pay him, he's worth double. Phenomanal player, absolutely selfless....
