I think I read in the Indo last week that Tim Alnutt said if there are injuries picked up in Italy there is a plan for replacements to be flown in to South Africa.

with them going straight from Italy to South Africa by the looks of things it might be a risk to bring Buckley if they're only bringing 25 for both those games, which to me seems like a small pool to choose from for two massive games.

Doesn't look like TOH & McKeon will make this week - there are at most 2 more days' training left before & the update says they haven't trained yet.

Injury update
Denis Buckley will integrate into team training this week following his recovery from ankle surgery in early January.
Conor Carey injured his shoulder in the game versus Zebre and is awaiting the results of a scan to determine the extent of the injury.
JP Cooney is recovering from hamstring surgery and will be out of action until April.
Hooker:
Pat O’Toole is continuing his rehabilitation for his hamstring injury under the supervision of the medical and performance team.
Lock:
Andrew Browne is containing his recovery from the shoulder injury he sustained against Ospreys last week and will be out of action for 4-6 weeks.
Back Row:
Eoin McKeon is nearing a return to team training following his calf injury.
Jake Heenan is continuing his rehabilitation from shoulder surgery and will be out of action until April.
Centre:
Peter Robb will integrate into team training this week following his recovery from a hamstring injury last month.
Back Three:
Tiernan O’Halloran is nearing a return to team training following his hamstring injury.
