I got kinda suspicious when they note his 2016 record but nothing after that, but he appears to have started most of Waikato's Mitre 10 games last season and bagged a fair few tries. You'd think that might've been worth a mention ...
Edit: Looks like the reason they don't mention what he did in 2017 is that his bio is lifted from his Wikipedia page, which hasn't been updated since 2016

The squad stats page has him down as having signed a one year deal.
Thanks. Updated Blade and Maksimiw. I'd say there's a few others that are wrong too as they're generally based on the Connacht press release and sometimes they don't say, hence the question marks on a few of them. I generally assume one year if it's not stated, but that is probably not a valid assumption. Any more errors anyone spots, stick them here and I'll update them.

Very interesting idea. Could be the solution to the problem of player log jams and player movement between provinces in Ireland.
Always liked the idea of a IRFU Draft System for Year 1 Academy intakes

Why not for a back-row project player (if Connors doesn't come)?

Completely Agree. I believe at least one of the Munster coaching team at the time told him he wasn't good enough for an academy spot and so they only offered him a sub academy spot. Nigel Carolan saw his potential immediately and two years later he was in an Ireland shirt laying waste to the auld enemy at Twickenham. Then as we all know the brave and the faithful came looking for both Ultan and Bundee a couple of years ago. Had they left, it would have been disastrous for Connacht so it's a credit to both players that they showed such integrity and loyalty to Connacht and rejected others to re-sign for Connacht.
