If he has a good injury profile and normally recovers fast we could see him in 4 but it could be also 8 or more as in the Andrew Browne.

Only two rounds with Dawai (or McKeon) as openside,
as Heenan should be back in December :)

Is Butler not "out of action for up to 6 weeks" - meaning he could be available for the home Brive game ?

I prefer the Cheethas win, they won't be too much hungry for victory in Europe now they have one
Weak defenders too a 5-2 split of points is not unlikely, if it's sunny next saturday (which is forseen!)

Zebre very unlucky not to hold Cheetaths off. Would have been nice to be only one win behind them going in to next week (even if it meant dropping behind Zebre in the short-term). Scarlets denying Blues anything leaves it pretty crowded at the bottom of the conf. Next three games against teams we're trying to get ahead of so will be season defining.

Hope butler injury isn’t too bad, he is a very good player was very impressed at his physicality and skills. With another big player Ahki joining the team soon we are really getting back on track. The back line will be back to being very competitive with leader back and scholes Ade etc fighting for their chance. If we manage to get an up and coming 10 to make that position ultra competitive also we will be back big time!. I did mention Ahki in my wish list earlier In season so delighted the Connacht team got him.

Just watched it back, Butler's injury is around 78:05. No contact that I can see, he was just back-pedalling into the defensive line and suddenly lifts his foot to grab his knee.

Any news on Butler - that's a disaster if he's out for any length of time. Badly badly needed.

Farrell is a really impressing me. Cracking player!!

Butler is a gem, a great signing, hope the injury isn't too serious.
Always felt we could win this game even after gifting them 10 unanswered points, we showed a passion and were getting some chances, and finding little gaps (which we didn't take advantage of), as the game progressed Munster offered less and less apart from the penalties and mistakes we gave them, that allowed them stay in the game.
Delighted for Farrell he had a great game and the last tackle of the game was typical of his intensity throughout the game.
Thought Tom was immense especially in the first half with some great tackles and leadership when we were behind.
Great to see Nyi coming back, he seemed really up for it with a couple of big tackles and I had to laugh when he put Murray on his arse, when he was holding onto him,
If we could just cut out the soft penalties!
Sportsground has needed a night like this for some time, hopefully momentum will continue.
A great night :)

Big win for us hopefully a turning point in the season. Overall the quality on show wasn't great but for me we deserved that win.

As usual we gifted them a lead early on but we worked out way back into the game gradually and the try was well worked by Bundee and Butler. It was one of the rare occasions this year where the passes didn't go to ground and we were able to get back in the game.

2nd half i felt we were getting on top but killing ourselves with errors. Munster looked short on ideas and coming off two European games we had the advantage of our bench played a key part.

Thought the pack really fronted up on the night. The Munster back row was virtually anonymous. Scrum struggled slightly initially before we turned the screw. Thought Farrell was excellent on the night. Daragh Leader has been indifferent for me this season but performed well also.

Defensively we had to do a lot of chasing but one or two missed tackles aside we got most of our tackles in.

Injury to Butler is worrying. Doesn't look good.

Conways sending off was a cast iron red. Even leaving aside my obvious bias he had to go.

Late on we carelessly let them into a winning position with a couple of brainless penalties but we got away with it.

Now we need to push on in the league. We've dug a bit hole for ourselves with the Dragons and Cardiff defeats in particular but there's a chance to make up some ground in the coming month or so.

Red card wasn't harsh, he was looking at Carty when he planted elbow in his face. He had time to turn away (Jack didnt) which would have changed the dynamic and save him a red...

Butler was fantastic, but overall Pack were great. Couple of dodgy throws by Tom but Cannon was excellent all game too, we got lots of.pressure on their ball getting him in the air.

The try apart which in fairness Scannell did brilliantly for, we bossed their backline. Zebo getting nassive plaudits from press, he finished off Scannell's brilliance but other than that he was in our defensive pocket all game...

Was disappointed we didn't backnourselves more until Craig came on, too much kicking balk away for me.

Felt we would.win this, we matches up very well on the pitch, but our Bench was way way better than theirs.....

wasn't sure if it was his knee or ankle but he had to be helped off so not very positive, he had a great game, thought it was between himself and Farrell for MOTM.

a few cheap shots from Munster, it was a sneaky one from Conway as he raised his elbow at the last moment hoping to get away with it.

Very good game especially the 2nd half. At 0-10 with the way the Pro14 season has been going I thought some heads would drop but credit to the lads they got themselves back into it. Hopeful that this is a turning point in the league and not one of those one off performances against another province as in seasons past. The lads overlooked by JS will have to be sure to kick on from here if they want to win a spot in the Irish squad.
