more postives than negatives for me, I can only think one area that is a negative and that's the front row, but we managed against Toulouse who had a bigger pack

onto the positives, dry calm conditions will suit us and no Devon Toner who has caused us problems in the past, collectively we just look too strong for them and our backline in particular should be able to create a few tries. they've a few players coming back from injury and combinations that haven't played together very often.

don't think Carberry is quite there yet in his decision making whereas Jack has been showing maturity in recent games

Is Bundee not 100%? Second game in-a-row he's not starting. Certainly is nice to have him available to make an impact from the bench and the game is not likely to be lost or won in the middle but I think I'd rather have him starting.

I wonder is Pat just resting Bundee now ahead of the two Wasp games in December?

At least tomorrow will be warmer and dryer then last year! Looking forward to this :-)

feeling a lot more confident after watching the ulster-munster game tonight. muck would have described it in a generous fashion.

I always have a concern about Connacht in the RDS, been there too many times and disappointed too many times. That said I've gone all out and bet on Connacht winning by 13 points or more at 10/1. So I'm not confident based on history. But I am confident based on logic.

I think back to the Connacht game in Treviso last year which we lost. There is only so much change to a squad you can make before, as Pat would call it, 'the process' fails. While Leinster has individual players that are very capable, I believe that rugby has always been a team game. And our team knows how to play as a team while Leinster has no such experience. So my analysis is we will lose, as historically proven, or we will win well. Take your pick :-)

So confused, even moreso than when we saw the selections for the Ulster game. Apart from front row I think we're stronger everywhere else, though I respect Isa's experience and influence at the back. SOB and Conan are important selections for them but obviously both back from injury. Kearney off the bench is unlikely to offer anything like what Bundee or Ili can.

Previously, we've gathered in Slattery's at Beggars Bush. About 10 minutes to walk down to the RDS from there.

Any advance on that?

Yes where are the pre match pints

Pints? Bus full of teetotalers heading up, as far as I know.

(That's a good one, I don't rightly know. Somewhere close to the RSD?

Back in the day (like, a week ago) I'd have been worried that this might be the weekend that the other provinces notice Robb and start wondering when he's leaving Connacht.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is 12C, Dry, Light Breeze. Hopefully that keeps the scrum count down. We can win this, but it will not be easy.

What better player to bring off the bench than Bundee? He'll tear someone apart when he comes on, I'm giddy at the thought!
