Connacht Rugby head Coach Pat Lam has made two changes to the starting team ahead of tomorrow evening’s Guinness PRO12 Round 5 game at home to Edinburgh (Kick Off: 7.35pm – live on TG4).

Peter Robb returns to the starting lineup to partner Bundee Aki in midfield and in an otherwise unchanged backline.

In the pack, 25-year-old Conor Carey makes his Connacht debut starting in the front row with Denis Buckley and Tom McCartney.

Commenting on the upcoming game, Pat Lam said:

“We’re back at the Sportsground tomorrow and really looking forward to the challenge. We are under no illusions as to the threat that Edinburgh pose, and the physicality they will bring to the contest. Wow, it seems you just have to be connected to Connacht in anyway and bad stuff happens. What's going on ....

That said, Solomons never came across well.

I'd like to see Romaine on the bench if he's fit, I can't see Cannon coming straight in. But I heard Browne could be fit enough for a spot on the bench, and come on for the last stretch.

For the no 10 spot, Carty could do with playing some role in the game, even if it only be the last 20.

I think Browne for Roux if fit with Roux to bench. I definitely think O'Leary to should start this one as Carthys confidence will have taken a hammering. I think we do need to see Carey at some point. JP has improved but needs to improve further.
