They opened up the center of the top level over the weekend so bought 2 tickets as the rest are in pretty poor locations and don't fancy spending all the money to go and end up behind a goal.
Another option for accommodation is AirBnB. I got a en-suite room for 2, 10 minutes walk from town center for 140 pound for 3 nights. Its a good option for anyone that is stuck.

Flights expensive and whats left of accommodation is ridiculous (ESP for Sat Night) - Managed to get to Dublin-Newcastle Out and Edinburgh to Knock back for €130. Train approx 2 hours from Newcastle Airport to Edinburgh. Accommodation in a hostel for €95 for the 2 nights - Hostelworld ain't a bad site or those looking for Accommodation in Edinburgh. Hopefully we beat Glasgow and it'll make my weekend!!

Will there be specific locations in Murrayfield allocated to Connacht Rugby fans in 2 weeks that we can buy direct from the Connacht Rugby website/office? Or how does it operate... Hoping that some of you knowledgeable people can shed some light on the process.

Tickets are on general sale now. Have been all season.
There are 2,500 tickets reserved for each finalist club. So on that basis, I presume a section is cordoned off for each team and the rest of the stadium is a free for all.
By the way, accomodation (B&B and hotels) in Edinburgh is through the roof expensive for that weekend. It might be worth looking at places outside Edinburgh and commuting into Edinburgh. The Edinburgh rugby fan's website might also help. Apparently, there are a number of other events on in the City that weekend.
