Proud day for the boys.
Dilate is the real deal.
Marmion was great except that awful box kick.
Bealham could grow into a very decent international prospect, probably at tighthead.
Happy now ?

I am happy for the man. Apparently is is a really nice fella and works very hard.
I wish him every success.
Clearly, he was brought into the squad as a young tighthead to get 'the joe show' experience. Possibly as a bit of a kicking to Rodney and Furlong also? A lack of foresight by 'St Joe' has probably caught them out and they now have to put Finlay on the bench. Probably too strict with their own rules and philosophies on having to be in the squad and having to know the system.
Sounds like Carton House is Waco, Texas!!!

Denis must be tad bit bewildered though gotta be said - should never have been excluded from Irish Set Up
It's a head scratcher allright. It's fine tho, he gets to have a nice rest before the last big round of games.
He could also be away on holidays at the moment. The Connacht players have the week off, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Denis is away, and the IRFU expected Healy to be fine.
If they knew about the injury last week, they may have called Denis up, but there's no point calling him into the squad at this late stage if he hasn't trained with the other players
Definitely think he deserves to be in the squad though

Or is that over doing it?
Absolutely not, these are heady days for Connacht Rugby lovers, overindulge and be damned... :woohoo:

Hopefully he comes on for Ross and he gets to play some TH before White comes on and he moves to LH

And Declan Kidney.....makes you wonder how much institutional involvement there is from the IRFU

Cian Healy in particular is a bad call. He's played like a 'p*g' anytime I've seen him recently, dropping balls, getting turned over in the scrum and in contact. How he got the three year deal is beyond me. Would love to see Marmion get a decent run.
