the only issues are DTH and L.Williams. If we (or the rain) can prevent the ball to be spread out wide, we should win this (assuming Dillane is released, if not we've nobody to play for lock, except tired Aly and out of position Naoupu/SOB

Don't know what weather forecast you're looking at - Met service and BBC saying cold & breezy with wintry showers morning/afternoon tending to steadier rain afternoon/evening. Mind you if it turns into an arm wrestle Scarlets are missing 6 of their starting pack including the whole front row.

AJ doesnt seem good enough. I'd pick Carty as least he will learn from it long term. The kicking needs to be sorted out.

I don't think Lam sees Ronaldson as an outhalf and I think unless we have injuries to Jack and AJ I don't think he'll pick him there much and all as the majority of people here would like to see it.

great news on Henshaw being released, so who plays 10 Carty, Ronaldson or McGinty, it should be good weather also on Saturday, light winds and no rain, it will suit our running game even though the pitch seems to have suffered recently.

as close to the best team will be named, Heenan will have benefited for getting a game under his belt.

Scarlets missing 5 first choice players in the forwards, their backline will be decent enough even if they could be down to their 3rd choice scrumhalf, this game is ours for the taking

(with my Ireland cap on that's a shame for Stuart McCloskey who I hoped would be at 12 with Henshaw 13 vs Wales)

Ya, I hope thats the case. Robbie 13 , McCloskey 12, Earls and fitz on the wings with Payne full back
Murray 9 and Jackson 10.

Lets hope they can get their tackles in early on Pitman if his playing.
This match is one we can win and should do it. Its in them they just need to concentrate for the 80 and be clinical with chances when we get them .

both davies and barlay is a big loss, add the likely citing of Paulinho and probably the front rower on wales duty, i believe Liam Williams might be back but thankfully first game back after 3 months out he's likely to be a bit rusty

Bit of an injury update from Scarlets for the weekend: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/35411001

"Scotland flanker John Barclay has failed to recover from an arm injury while five other Wales squad players are unavailable for the Galway game.

Centre Gareth Owen, prop Pete Edwards and back-rower Rory Pitman are fit again after missing the Champions Cup defeat by Northampton through injury.

Flanker James Davies may return from a foot injury in their subsequent game against Edinburgh on 12 February.

Meanwhile Samoan lock Maselino Paulino will leave for a French club at the end of his short-term contract this season."

I think Liam Williams is definitely back but no Barclay is massive he's been immense for them this season.

Anyone want to swing by training to see who's wearing bibs?

It was a Linley MacKenzie tweet.

I'd guess White and Henshaw (I'd hoped he would have been release but the craggy island boys correctly pointed out him going 80 mins last week is enough to show he's fit) will definitely be retained, Marmion is probably 50/50 and the other two I'd expect to see playing this weekend.
