What has happened to LGWT? Do his presidential duties keep him away from this forum or has he changed name?

A bit of self-indulgence here, but when myself and LGWT met up back in the day, to see about forming a supporters club, this game was the exact reason why we did. C'MON CONNACHT!!

Vainikolo and McCrea both in the A side to face Saracens A in London on Monday.

I see Jamie Hagan will be playing against Melrose in front of a handful of people for Leinster A at exact same time as Connacht game tomorrow. Good to see Cronin getting a start and Carr at least back in the 23.

On a separate note big result for Michael Bradley's Edinbrugh tonight, looks like Racing went missing for the last half hour but 2 from 2 for Edinburgh now, 2 good comebacks, 9 points, look good for a place in the Amlin quarters and could have a shout at HC quarters. I know I gave him stick while he was here and I still have major issues with a lot of his time at Connacht but fair play to him tonight. Only fair to acknowledge his side's HC results. Good chance for them as its a fairly average group.

Looking forward to tomorrow, a lot of talk all week but that Toulouse lineup shows what we're up against. Still its a massive occasion for Connacht.

With the back five forwards, prety obvuious that Ray isn't 100% at the moment so Eric's hand is forced somewhat. Not ideal losing two International class sevens for the biggest club game in our history. But the lads will put in a massive effort, if the sight of Les Rouge et Noir doesn't inspire all of them nothing will.

Hopefully the crowd can stick with them, especially if it's tight. Gotta keep the love flowing out to the lads, 16th man stylee....

McCarthy is at 6, I presume because

1) Bouilhou makes their lineout tick, like Harinorduquoy for France. He moves up and down the line, and with no Sowerby, he'll be the main target. Macca is our best lineout operator so he's there to curb Bouilhou.

2) It's going to be a wet day in Galway, so it's a day for a heavy pack. Gannon brings extra bulk, and Muldoon had a stormer at 7 last week and will be able to put it up to Dusatoir physically. Ofisa can be brought in in the 2nd half to add pace to the back row and speed us up

McCarthy at 6 .Can see what's being tried as he's a savage man to hold the attacker up and prevent him going to ground and hence slowing down ball.

Muldoon at 7 ? Hmmnn has to be done because of the experiment at 6 i suppose .

Big game for Dave Gannon.Hasn't much game time this year.

Tough on Ray.Man can do no wrong but he'll be certainly on in 2nd half.

Rodney -Big scrum coming up .

George -Few runs swatting lads outta the way by the half dozen please.

Backs done themselves and us proud against quins.Get the confidence up as the ability is there .

C'MON CONNACHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
